Sid:  Now, my guest is red hot for the Messiah. He understands poverty and he understands the principals of the Bible that cause people to prosper.  And as a result, I mean you don’t have to be a mental giant to know that the world economically is in trouble.  Although, interesting enough, guess what country is prospering beyond anything you ever imagined.  Israel.  I mean, I should amazingly, but it is.  Yeah, most of the other countries are really running into economic problems.  So I asked Charles Vance, because, and you’ll find out his background in a moment. Because of his background to teach a series called “Prospering in the Hard Times” because it is not based on the economy.  It is based on the Kingdom of God principals.   And why did I pick Charles Vance to do this?  Because, #l. He was born in West Virginia.  Charles, for those that aren’t that familiar with West Virginia, tell me a bit about the economy of West Virginia.

Charles: Well, according to my last censes Sid, I don’t think that’s most recent, I don’t think all the results are in, but that the last censes, it was the most poverty stricken state per capita in the union.

Sid: And you know a, it seems to me as I read a bit about your life, for instance in 1975 you went into the construction business and you were barely getting by. But, what we were your expectations inside of you having been raised in poverty?

Charles: Well any, I think any time you are raised around poverty you are going to think poverty.  The mentality is, this is, this is what’s gonna be pretty much the rest of my life.  And that was my thinking.

Sid: I’ve seen so many people, their parents had nothing and they have nothing and they don’t realize it but they are just reproducing their parents.

Charles: I call it going to seed.  Until something different gets planted in someone, they’re going to reproduce the same thing over and over and over again from generation to generation.

Sid: Okay, so you get in the construction business in ’75.  You don’t think you are going to do much and you don’t do much.  But, then in 1981 you ran into an interest rates going up to what 21% and what happened to your business?

Charles: Well, it stopped.  I think the construction business around the country stopped in 1981.  They raised the prime interest rate to 21% and nobody was borrowing any money to build anything.  To build new homes or to build remodeled, to do anything hardly.

Sid: And one day, a friend of yours, who was a Pastor, you had him on the telephone and things were so bad you said “please pray for me.” What did he say?

Charles: He told me no! It was just kind of like somebody stuck something in my face.  I thought, man we’ve been friends for a long time, I can’t believe you’d…no, I need your prayer; I’m in tough financial condition.  The kids are sick it’s a mess.  People from church were handing me, we call them, a spiritual Pentecostal hand shake, Sid, and they’d have a ten dollar bill folded up in their hand to give me some money or bring me some food.  We were in a horrible financial condition.

Sid: And so, he would not pray for you, but he said he wanted to spend some time with you and as a result of this time; keys were opened up to you.  I don’t understand why you didn’t understand some of these keys, having been in the church so long.

Charles: You know if nobody teaches them, I’ve found for myself, that you can read the Bible and just read it through and if you don’t have revelation of it you are just reading words.  But if somebody can wet my taste on a particular direction in the Word of God, for instances about the goodness of God, the love of God, the grace of God, the mercy of God, the things that God desires for me to have.  The things that was purchased through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, things come alive. Start coming alive and I start hunting then and this is actually what happened when my friend started sharing with me some truths. Just some Biblical laws, it caused me to start hunting through the Word of God. And as I began to hunt through the Word of God, I discovered that God wanted me to prosper even in the midst of a poverty stricken state, He wanted me to prosper.

Sid: In the midst of a poverty stricken state and in the midst of even recessions and interest rates zooming up.  I mean you had everything going against you except for these Biblical Principals and as a result of following these, principals what happened to your finances in 2004?

Charles: Well, in 2004 we actually became millionaires my wife and I, and, were still in the state of West Virginia. I’ve had people say, have you lived there all of your life.  Not yet, because we are not dead yet.  God is continuing to bless us.

Sid: Now, according to what I’m reading here, according to the United Nations report, you and your wife are among the top 1% of the wealthiest people in the world.  And I understand when you teach these principals to others, people have actually become millionaires from following these principals which are right in the Bible.

Charles: This is as simple as somebody making Jesus Lord of their lives.  You know that the Bible says in Roman’s chapter 10:9 if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thy heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  So I am saying something, I’m saying it by faith making Jesus the Lord or the boss of my life and then believing inside of me that Jesus died for my sins and He was raised from the dead the scripture says you shall be saved.  There’s a positive, there are laws in, I hate to use this term, but it’s like a recipe or a formula in the Kingdom of God that God gives us routinely throughout the scripture.  When he tells us to do something he tells us that there’s a blessing attached to our obedience by faith.

Sid: But you must have tremendous business knowledge.  You must have tremendous abilities in the business world.

Charles: Thank you, your flattering way way to much because that’s not true.

Sid: Wait a second, if you’re in the top 1% of the wealthiest people in the world you’ve got to be just brilliant.

Charles: My Uncle Vic was eighty years old and he walked through this building with me that we are currently our ministry is housed in is 40,000 square feet.  By the way, it is paid for completely with two business deals that God allowed me to make.  And he walked through this building and stopped back at our TV production department and said Charlie, son you couldn’t have done this, he said you’re not smart enough to do this.

Sid: Now, did you agree with him or were you embarrassed?

Charles: No, I thought it was funny.  He is a real frank fellow.  He went on to be with the Lord now, but I said Uncle Vic, you are exactly right.  He said this was the Lord, son.  He always called me son, he said, this was the Lord.  Well, there is no question about it. Now, did I have to use some diligence?  Did I have to use the knowledge that I had?

Sid: Now, did you have to work hard?  Or did you just sit back and let it happen?

Charles: No, you know work hard, but I think work smart is a lot more intelligent way to do any kind of business.  And I’ve learned that to work smart with the principals of the Word of God the God that I’ve learned through His word.  They’ve changed my life financially, but they have to be put to work.  You can’t just say, well there it is so it’s going to fall on me. It doesn’t happen like that.  Nothing in the Kingdom of God happens like that. No matter what God creates for us, if we don’t work or do what he instructed us to do, James said faith without works or action is dead.  We have to put our faith together with the Word of God and we have to put action with it.  We have to do something.  Follow the instruction that God gives us and we have found that when we follow the instructions of the Lord, even when we are in the midst of a state that is just covered in poverty.  The poverty mentality is just extraordinarily horrible here.  People think poverty, they talk poverty.  We’ve just discovered that when we put those principals to work, that it reminds me of Isaacs in Genesis 26 when he sowed in a land of famine because he obeyed the instructions of the Lord, he received a one hundred fold harvest in the same year.  And it’s happened time and time again for us.

Sid: I have to tell you many Bible believers are so turned off about the manipulation on many Christian programs having to do with money, that they just want nothing to do with it.  Is that equivalent to throwing out the baby with dirty bath water?

Charles: Oh, I certainly believe that it is because there are Biblical principles. You know, I tell our folks this, at our church. You spend forty, fifty, sixty hours a week working for money and then when you come to church a lot of times you don’t want to hear anybody talk about money.  Well, it what you do the most of your waking hours.  Why wouldn’t you want to hear what God’s Word says about your money and about your finances?  Because it’s threaded throughout the Word of God and it’s not just in one spot here and there.  It’s all over throughout the Word of God.  And God has principals, not for us just to operate our life spiritually by but he wants us to operate our lives while we’re on this planet by the principals of His Word.  And every time that we do and do them by faith success has been the result for me and I know that it has been for many people that I know as well.

Sid: Well, you have taught a four CD series called prospering in hard times and you’ve taught these principals for many years.  Give me one quick testimony of someone that has taken your teaching and I might add, it is the most balanced teaching that I have seen and you also include “You’ve Got To Be Walking in Biblical Character”.  Tell me one quick testimony of someone who took your course and what happened.

Charles: There’s a couple people that attend our church that have been here for a few years, probably ten years that was in church with me.

Sid: Were out of time, bottom line what happened to them?

Charles: They started mowing fields for a utility company and became millionaires.

Sid: Okay, I’m not saying that you’re going to become a millionaire, but I’m saying if you follow these principals, you will prosper in all areas of your life.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth your investigative reported here with two gentlemen from Africa. One was a former witch, the other a former witch doctor. And actually you came from four generations of witch doctors. They understand the supernatural realm like few people that are Bible believers; in the west, in the United States. I want to understand the supernatural realm better. Now they were able to put curses on people when they were on the side of the devil and the people would die. So that means they know how to reverse the curse. That means they know how, when people are sick, to get rid of these spirits that are causing the sickness. You know the Messiah said to make disciples; to teach people my ways. If you were to teach me – and I want you to; both of you, I want you to tell me one thing that will help me move in the supernatural, will help me pray for the sick and see them recover. I want you to tell me one key. I’ll start out with you Samuel since you’re shaking your head the most.

SAMUEL: First of all, you have to be able to identify your calling and your office. That is one of the most important things. You must pray God to show you what you are in his kingdom. Now after identifying your office and your calling, now all that you’ve got to do now is now stay in focus and do the things he wants you to do. For example, when I came out from the witchcraft kingdom, people were really trying to take me off from deliverance because they said he doesn’t read the Bible. He just talk about spirit, spirit. He doesn’t know the Bible. He talks about this, this, and if I had listened to the people, I wouldn’t be sitting here. So first you have to be sure that what you are walking in is what God asked you to do; your calling and the office. Then after that, you stay focus and that’s it. You don’t struggle, and it’s there.

SID: And that’s what I see. A lot of people are gifted and they do a lot of different things. People that are pastors, many times they do so many different things rather than what God really wants them to do.

SAMUEL: Because in each person at a particular time, he gives you an assignment and an office and he’ll put anointing on you on that particular thing that you walk in. That line he puts our body, we are body. He said you walk in this line. He puts our body so when we meet the gift of Christ edifies the church and edifies the body.

SID: Now out of curiosity, do you know my calling?

SAMUEL: Ha! Ha!  I’m not praying to what’s your calling. I want to know where God has really fit you and I want to know where because it seems as if you are so interested in supernatural things and that’s where I want to help you. I want to really know where you’ve been fitted then you do like this because the heart is…

SID: So the job of an apostle is to help someone go into their calling.

SAMUEL: Yes and to plant a church.

SID: And to plant churches.

SAMUEL: God calls you to plant churches; that is the anointing on you. Within that short time you would just plant a church – boom! And I don’t mean to do it. I was telling him all my churches in my country but he has churches all over…

SID: How many churches do you have Surprise?

SURPRISE: We have 6,000 Churches.

SID: 6,000?

SURPRISE: Yes.

SID: Alright. If you were to give me advice on moving in the supernatural, what advice would you give me?

SURPRISE: My advice that I can tell you is to spend more time with the Lord. That’s where the Lord can reveal his secrets to you and take the Lord as the first thing in our whole life and let him be important over everything else.

SID: Do you do that?

SURPRISE: Yes.

SID: I want you to tell me one key that you have learned from the Lord of walking in the supernatural.

SURPRISE: One key is that I spend most of my time, sometimes on the mountain praying; fasting and praying. And when I’m on the mountain, I’m by myself sometimes or sometimes with a friend. We do sometimes a tri-fasting which we don’t do water. Not anything; no juice, no tea, no coffee; we just stay…

SID: For how long?

SURPRISE: For 4 days.

SID: I’ve tried that. That’s not so easy.

SURPRISE: It is not easy, but still the Lord showed up.

SID: When you say the Lord showed up, what do you mean?

SURPRISE: Oh, well I mean that even though….even one day, two days isn’t much for God. Yes, but we have to do that…

SID: You told me before we went on the air that God told you about someone that’s watching us right now. Would you talk to them?

SAMUEL: Yes. Somebody is in the labor ward and she’s finding it difficult to bring the child. Now I know that it’s Beelzebub who’s doing that. Now Beelzebub is in charge of witches and wizards. He’s in charge of necromancy. He’s in charge of black witchcraft as well as white witchcraft; and I’m going to rebuke the spirit of Beelzebub out of her and she’ll be delivered in the next 10 minutes. Father I pray over this woman in the name of Jesus. You spirit of Beelzebub in charge of witches and wizards, necromancy, sorcery, white witchcraft, black witchcraft, I remove you out of her tummy; her womb in the name of Jesus, and I command that woman to deliver at once, in Jesus’ name. Before the enemy will be aware, he will already be delivered. Yes, before the Egyptian will know, the Hebrew are already delivered, in the name of Jesus. I cause you to deliver and I remove the curses of Beelzebub; I remove the works of the devil out of your life in Jesus’ name. Be delivered now! Now! In Jesus name!

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Janie DuVall. Janie is co-producer of It’s Supernatural television. And Janie and I have similar backgrounds. We came to the Lord about the same time. We both come from a Jewish background. And Janie, there was a book that you read and I read in the early’70s. It was by John Sherrill, “They Speak in Other Tongues”. And that book really, it was so amazing. You see, in this book, it was kind of a bestseller back then and everyone that was speaking in supernatural languages was most brand new believers, there was a movement, the charismatic movement at that point, was reading that book. And this fellow was a skeptic. He did not believe that these languages were anything but gibberish. So he went around and he took a tape recorder and he recorded these languages. Then he went to a language lab of a university and had many of these experts. They study semantics. They know if it’s a language or not. So they listened to these languages and they said, “We know through the science of semantics that they are old, ancient languages, but they are real languages. It’s not just gibberish.” And that impressed me so much that Janie DuVall did an experiment. She didn’t tell me about it ‘till after she did it. But she spoke into a tape recorder or made a CD of her prayer language. And what did you do with it, Janie?

JANIE: I taped three minutes. And we contacted a whole bunch of universities around the United States, university language experts, linguistic experts, and we didn’t tell them anything. We just said, “Here we’d like you to listen to this. Tell us what this is.” And so I’m a Jewish New Yorker. My last name is French, but that’s because of my husband. I am not French. But I prayed in supernatural languages on that tape, and this is what some of the professors said. They said, “This is definitely a native French speaker.” Several of them said that. And they said, one said that it was a performance art piece constructed passage performed by a native speaker of French, purely for the sound. But they said, and that professor himself was a native French speaker himself. But then another professor said that he believed that it was old French, a variety of Medieval language, and he said, and maybe from Provencal. So I thought, you know, I didn’t tell you this one, and here’s the surprise. I looked up Provencal. I thought, what is that? And it was a little French language. It’s extinct now. And it was spoken in the 1300’s, and listen to this. It was spoken by the Jewish French community in 1300.

SID: That is super. But I’ll tell you what’s even more exciting than that is several scientists did brain studies of people that speak in supernatural tongues. And you see the center of speech, I learned this from some people I was interviewing, is what’s called the frontal lobe. And Janie, what did their research find?

JANIE: Well Dr. Andrew Newberg, a scientist, said, in the frontal lobe when we’re speaking the language that we know there’s activity going on in the frontal lobe. But he did studies, when people speak in supernatural languages there’s no activity. So it has to be coming from Spirit.

SID: So it’s not coming from the mind.

JANIE: That’s right.

SID: It’s coming from your spirit. And this is a kind of interesting story. I had the same experience. Janie and I are kind of going parallel with these experiences. But Janie’s mother, on Yom Kippur, now this is her Jewish mother, on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, had an experience with Jesus. What happened?

JANIE: Jesus appeared to my mom on Yom Kippur a few years before I was born. But she argued with him, being Jewish, saying, “I cannot be seeing you,” which I thought, how do you argue when he appears to you. But she just said, “I can’t be seeing you. I’m Jewish.” So inside she believed, but, hmmm.

SID: Okay. So Janie comes home after becoming a believer. What caused you to speak in a supernatural language to your mother? You knew she wouldn’t understand that.

JANIE: You know, I thought, okay, my mother is just gonna have to hear this. My mom was an expert in the Romance languages. She never spoke it at home, but she knew French, Italian, Latin, Spanish. And so I thought, you know when I heard the supernatural languages coming out of me for the first time I heard a whole bunch of languages. So I said, “Okay Mom, listen to this. Tell me what ‘s going on.” And my mother just absolutely flipped. She said, “You are speaking in Latin. I hear French. I hear Italian and you’re saying that Jesus is coming back soon. Worship Jesus. Sing to him.”

SID: You know, I had something so amazing that parallels what Janie’s talking about. When I received my supernatural language I didn’t feel anything. I didn’t hear anything. Just by faith I started speaking. The man told me to do it, I believed that he knew what he was talking about, so therefore, I could do it. I was like a child. I had like childlike faith. If they had said you could sing, you could walk on water, I would have walked on water. But then immediately after I started speaking my language the thought popped in my head, you’re making that up. And so I was kind of, James calls it, I was kind of double-minded as far as my supernatural language. And at that time an orthodox Jewish rabbi became a believer in Jesus. And I was talking with him and a woman came up that was expecting a baby, and the doctor had said the baby was dead within her. And she walked up to me, and I’m a brand new believer, and she said, “Pray for my baby to come to life.” Now I didn’t know anything. That was a little too much for me. And so when I prayed for the baby to come back to life all I could think of doing was praying in my supernatural language, and I did it. And after she left, the rabbi said to me, “You were speaking in an ancient form of Hebrew. Where did you learn it?” I said, “Rabbi, I know Bar Mitzvah Hebrew. I know how to read it. I don’t speak too many words.” This rabbi said to me, “Sid, you prophesied that the child was with the God the Father and be at peace.” And I, Janie, I never doubted again. And doubt is not good because the just shall live by faith. Katie: Yeah, it was just awesome.  You know when you start to understand that what Jesus said.  He said that the prince of this world is coming, but he has nothing in me that is in common with him so he has no power over me.  So, I began to understand that as I got my wounded soul healed in the Glory Light, then I would begin to have more dominion over the demonic because  there would be nothing in my soul in common with demonic powers.  And I saw that playing out when I went on tour and I had a dream one night.  I had a dream I was cooking meth.  That is when you have a laboratory where you cook the drug called methamphetamine and that is one of the sins that I use to take part in over a decade ago.  And so I have that dream and I wake up and I say gee Lord, I haven’t done that for over a decade, but I don’t think that it was coincidence that you would have me have that dream.  I believe your showing me a wound in my soul because sin creates the wound.  And boy cooking meth is a sin and it put a wound in me.  And so I said, I’m just going to believe that you want that healed today for some reason before I go to my first meeting.  So, I lay down and I began to put the glory light of Jesus on my soul to heal that wound and in fifteen minutes, I got the healing.  We teach on that the CD that you are offering that the people can know how to do it and how to know they got the healing.  So in fifteen minutes I get the healing and I go to the healing.  I walk into the room that I am going to minister in and I smell in the spirit the chemical used to cook methamphetamine. And I thought, that can’t e a coincidence, so I go to the hostess who is holding the meeting and I tell her about my dream and I tell her what happened.  She said this, well this room, before we bought this building was used as a methamphetamine lab.  And I knew what Jesus was doing.  I knew that the Lord was saying, you got to go minister in that place today.  You need to have complete dominion so that there can be nothing in you that is in common with the demonic  so that the demonic will have no power over you.  So, that is why God showed me that in my soul that night and when I got the healing of it I walked into that building,  I had authority that I wouldn’t have had before and signs and wonders broke out.  We even had a woman that was getting healed of bipolar.

Sid: Have you had many people healed of such things healed of bipolar and things to do with their memory and their brains?

Katie: Yeah, and we teach that on the disk that you are offering too.  We understand who the king is that is over some of the mental disorders.  We’ve had people in meetings feel like a hand was scooping through their mind and their mind instantly cleared up.  We’ve had people in the meetings see like light filling their mind and then they got a healing of mental disorder.  A husband was healed of mental disorders.  We have had a lot of healing of things that are attached to the brain.

Sid: Now, you stated that you had the Glory Light of Jesus shine on you to get you healed.  How did you do that?  But for those that are listening.

Katie: Well, first I have a scriptural understanding that the glory light of Jesus the Messiah heals us.  I saw it in Malachi 4:2 says the son of righteousness, meaning Jesus arises with healing in His wings and the beam.  That is in the Amplified.  That means beams of light and I started to look at that word healing and He arises with healing.  Well, I know that Jesus uses light to heal, but can it actually heal the soul, our mind, our will and our emotions.  And that word healing that there is the word, Marpai it actually means to mean sound of mind.  And I began to see proof.  Every where Jesus would say, “I’m the Light of the world”, “I bring the light, which is life” I would see that those words would be… that they would translate from the Hebrew and the Greek into the word soul and into the word healing for the soul and light for the soul.  So I believed what I saw in scripture, that the light can actually heal the parts of your soul, your mind, your will and your emotion.  And so very briefly, the very most basic thing I did was that  I get my soul wounds healed.  The first thing I do when God brings something to my mind.  Oh, remember when that happened or this happened I first put the blood of Jesus on that.

Sid: Now what most people when something comes to remembrance, they repent, they say they are sorry.  But, your finding that it is much more effective to do the next two things.

Katie: And that is what we have been missing, that is what we have been missing, Sid.  Because, I’m telling you what?  Let’s say somebody really offends you, they really hurt your feelings and you get offended and worked up and maybe speak against them.  And then you go before the Lord and say I’m sorry, I repent.  I forgive them and I repent and bless them and everything else and the next time you hear that person’s name you catch yourself still feeling upset about it. Your thinking, why I repented, I forgave.  Well, because creates a wound and we have been repenting and putting the blood of Jesus on the sin, but we have not been putting the glory light of Jesus on the wound to get it healed.  If the wound is still there, wounds control your mind.  They affect the way you think.  They affect your emotions, so we need to do both.  This is the missing thing that we have been doing.  Even with fighting the demonic.  We have been claiming the blood of Jesus on any of our sins to cleanse, to close the door so the demonic powers would not have legal right to afflict us.  Then we are fighting and warring and we are wondering why we aren’t getting the victory.  Well, one of the reasons is because we put the blood which forgives the sin but we have not put the glory light of Jesus to heal the wound that was created by the sin.

Sid: You know that’s what I love about your six CDs in the Healing School.  You make it so easy to understand.  And we are throwing a very special bonus, which would be worth the whole..If you got this bonus it would change your destiny and your life.  It’s called the Glory Light and how to activate it step by step.  I think that it’s time Katie, for you to pray for us to have those scar and those wounds removed and for healing to break out.

Katie: Yes, I just want to release right now into whatever atmosphere that you are sitting in right now the power of the blood of Jesus and the glory light of Jesus now.  I ask that Jesus presence break out where ever you are out right now.  And I ask that in His light, in His glory light that you would receive revelation.  That you would get dreams and vision about what ever wound is in your soul and God wants healed in Jesus’ glory light.  You would have an understanding.  A memory would come to your mind.  Or you would see a picture or you would have a dream tonight, even as you are soaking right now and receiving the light because in His glory light we see light.  That is what the scriptures say.  Then you would take that revelation and you would begin to meditate on the scriptures about the light of Jesus.  How He is the light of the world and how when your eye or your soul is filled with light your entire being will be sound.  And I decree the loosing of light upon every wound and the blood on every sin in Jesus name.  Wiping away the sin that created the wound and then the glory light going to heal the wound.  More and more light.  I decree more and more glory light, more and more of Jesus’ glory light loosed and penetrating, going deep, going back in time to the very place that that wound was formed inside your soul.  I decree right now that you are going to receive a healing in the glory light and its going to change the way you feel.  It’s  going to change your emotions.  It is going to change your peace level.  It is going  to change the amount of dominion that you have over the enemy.  Everything that is in you that is in common with demonic powers is going to be healed in the glory light of Jesus and you are going to see a whole new level of dominion and authority as the stuff that’s in you that is in common with the demonic is taken out in the glory light and you’ll have total dominion and authority over powers and kings and master spirits.  And I decree more light, more glory light, more glory light, more of the glory light, more of the glory light, more of the glory light. Transformed into His image in the presence of the glory light.  And that tonight angels will even come in and beam the glory light of Jesus into your room as you sleep.  That they will beam it into your mind so that your mind, all of the wounds attached to your mind will be healed.

Sid: I can tell you that God wants everyone everywhere to have their houses 24-7 filled with the atmosphere of Heaven.  Speaking of the atmosphere of Heaven, and  the atmosphere changing, that is really an amazing story Julie True about how the atmosphere changed in a counseling between a husband that was fighting constantly with his wife in the counseling session. Tell me about that.

Julie: Well, a lady who was a counselor who was working with a husband and wife, she said that they came in fighting from the very beginning and she decided to just put on a CD of mine to comfort her.  The counselor said that it just changed the atmosphere and the husband and wife both of them just started weeping.  They just kept weeping and weeping and then it kind of freaked them out because they didn’t understand what was happening. And they asked her, “Is that Christian music?” She said yes and told them that God was touching them and cleansing their hearts.

Sid: Julie tell me about the person that had a uterine cyst when your music literally sang over her.

Julie: That was a lady that came to our church one night and she had actually had a cyst that was enlarged and it was putting pressure on her nerve.  She was in excruciating pain and had been absolutely incapacitated for the whole day and insisted that her husband bring her to church for prayer.  We had never met.  She had been watching archived shows of your’s that day. Her faith was being, you know, built up and she could receive healing from God.  She told her husband that I know that Julie True goes to this church but I would love for her to sing over me because I’ve heard that God is using her music.  So anyway she comes in. It is totally crazy story about how she came in to get a heating pad and the usher led her in to this room. She had no idea we were in there because the church service was going on in another room and she stumbles on to us, me and two prayer people that were with me.  So we end up praying for her and singing over her.  I sing over her and she had about 30% better instantly where she could actually move and was able to sit in a chair which we had not been able to do.  By the next day she was completely healed of that whole situation. And she had had an ultrasound before and had one after, and the cyst had shrunk and she had no more pain.

Sid: People are being healed, suicides are being prevented.  Again, how would you like that supernatural peace just saturating your entire house, your entire family? I think it would change everything and everyone.  Tell me about the suicide that was prevented.

Julie: Oh wow that one really touched me.  A person who carries my CD’s in South Africa had a lady call in who just started weeping and weeping on the phone.  And the girl that was talking with her could hardly understand her.  And she starts finding out that this husband and wife, that their son had been murdered about a month earlier. And the husband had been so distraught that he was at a point of complete hopelessness and was going to commit suicide.  He went out to get in the car and leave and go carry out this thing and my CD “Breathe You In” was playing in the car. And God, I don’t even know what part it was, but God used it to arrest him and he just was touched by God and completely changed him.  He let go of the whole idea of suicide.  He came back and they said that they just keep that CD playing 24-7 in their house and it has been like a life line to them.

Sid: How about the person who was watching “It’s Supernatural” when you were on and literally they could feel the robe of Jesus brush across their face.  And then their whole family had manifestations of God.

Julie: Yes, this lady said that it affected her whole family, her husband especially had been, she had taken him to church and he had all these kind of churchy experiences, but somehow God used my music in that moment to really touch him and he cried and cried.  Then he closed his eyes and for the first time in twenty years he just began speaking in tongues and spirit language and he was in the presence of God.  She took a picture and said that in the picture she could see angel wings around him.  So they had an incredible encounter.

Sid: I think everyone that listens to your music is going to have incredible personal encounters of intimacy with God.  But there was a change in your life when you began for the first time to learn you couldn’t work for intimacy with God.  It was simply because God loved you.

Julie: That’s right. Well we had had a speaker at our church that really had a big impact on me, and had had a lot of understanding about the love of the Father, and the heart of God as a Father. And so I started receiving that and understanding the truth. And I had really believed a wrong picture of who God was and thought He was kind of this stern person that was shaking His finger at me and that every mistake I made I was being held accountable .  And there was just no place for the fact that Jesus loved me and His grace covered me and it wasn’t about how well I performed.  And you know when you receive that love then you have something to sing about.  So it is hard to sing about somebody that you feel like doesn’t like you very much.  Anyway it changed everything, it changed the whole way that I communicated with God.  I began to sing songs of love to Him and songs of the thankfulness.  Those are really key things. Thankfulness opens up the heavens to us, and it opens up a pathway between us and God.  So that was a huge turning point in my life.

Sid: You know one person said describing your music, “it is the most meaningful heavenly music I have ever listened to.”  Another person, a friend of mine James Gall, prophesied over you that your music would be an interactive healing experience.  What does that mean to you?

Julie: Well, to me what I didn’t really know what it meant in the moment when he said that; but what I realized since then is that every time I lead a soaking worship and prayer time it is me interacting with God.  Then people kind of opens up a place for people to come along with me in that place that I am connecting with God, and then it helps them.  So that is what I think it means, we are both interacting with God, we are both receiving healing, and He is touching deep places in our heart.

Sid: Speaking about touching deep places even people with Alzheimer’s are being touched and affected by your music.  Tell me about the selection we are going to play today “Free to Fly.”

Julie: It was the last song on “Sounds of Healing” which was another one of those interactive healing experiences, and I had been through just a whole lot of things in the midst of that soaking time that we had that day.  It was at the very end I had sung about having nothing holding back from God and then pure peace.  We just sensed God’s pure peace and I was singing about how there is nothing like it.  And then the violinist just started playing in this beautiful melody on the violin.  I felt like God, I was just like an eagle being set free.  I was just free to fly there was no ceilings in God.

Sid: You know, I’ve had dreams in which I’ve seen myself flying and it is the neatest thing in the world.  I’m just curious, has that ever happened to you?

Julie: I’ve never had a dream about that but I’ve definitely felt that musically and in the Spirit.

Sid: Well, you know what?  I believe people are going to feel that way when they hear “Free to fly.”
