Sid: This week I’m speaking about the book of Esther because this week is Purim. And the megillah, or the scroll of Esther is read word for word in traditional synagogues throughout the world. What is far more important than that is this scroll of Esther I believe is the end time book to the church. If you want to understand what God’s doing in the last days you must read the book of Esther with spiritual understanding. And that’s why I wrote a book called “Time is Running Short.” The forward is by my friend Dr. Derrick Prince in which I take the book of Esther and weave teaching throughout that book to explain where we are in the last days. The job of the church in the last days and what God’s going to be doing with the Jewish people; how to communicate the gospel with Jewish people, and how to answer hard questions that Jewish who are asking; how to communicate with Christians that don’t understand God’s love for the Jew that are into something called Replacement Theology where they feel that the blessings promised to the Jewish people have been taken away from the Jews and given to the church. Let me tell you something God loves the physical Jew and His promises are without repentance in other words He doesn’t change His mind. And if you can trust God’s promises to the physical Jews you can trust God’s promises to the Esthers that are grafted in the spiritual seed of Abraham. And the truth of the matter is every time you see a Jew you can say “Praise God God honors His word I’m so excited about God and the Bible and what He’s doing and the job He has for me, and the job He has for the Jew. We’re going to join arm and arm and hand and hand and we’re going to run this race and no one’s going to stop us!” Because we’re getting ready for a great Jewish wedding! And you’re invited you have an engraved invitation.

Please don’t be like the foolish virgins in the Bible, be like the wise. You see the wise soaked in oil, the foolish frittered away their time and then when it was time for the wedding the shofar blasted and the Bridegroom was there, the wise could see where they were going they weren’t walking like blind people because their spirit man had been developed. But the foolish says “Give us some of your oil so that we can get in on that wedding.” And the truth of the matter is even though the wise had more than they needed and it was flowing out of them they couldn’t do it because each person must have their own intimacy with God. So don’t be foolish be wise.

It says in the book of Esther is that the preparation for one of virgins to go to the king consisted of this. “Six months they were supposed to soak in oil of myrrh.” And some of you have been soaking in oil of myrrh a lot more than 6 months. Because let me tell you what happens to the myrrh plant it is bitter you bite into one, it’s bitter! But if you get deep enough it’s sweet in the center and that’s true about us humans. When we can get rid of walking in this kingdom and in the flesh and walk in the word of God in the Spirit of God in the kingdom of God and be like a little child would smell like Jesus like Yeshua. As a matter of fact after that 6 months of crushing and many of us have been in a whole lot more than 6 months it’s a shame us humans are so tough, we got to soak. And so after we’ve been soaking in this oil of myrrh then we soak for 6 months in perfume; can you imagine how we smell because we’re getting ready for a great Jewish wedding.

Now speaking of a Jewish wedding and speaking of women I want to talk about a women in the book of Esther that doesn’t get a enough credit. Now she gets credit but credit was from the kingdom of the world not the Kingdom of God. Her name was Zeresh, she was Haman’s wife. There are 2 bits of wisdom that she give Haman one is right the other is wrong. Let’s talk about the wrong one. In Esther chapter 5 verse 14 Zeresh which was Haman’s wife said “I want you to build a gallows to hang Mordechai on and make this gallows so big everyone is going to see it 75’ tall.” That is a high gallows and here’s the bit of good advice she gave him after the story on gallows she said in Esther 5:13 “If Mordechai is a Jew you will not prevail.” So what happened? Of course Mordechai was a Jew so you know what it says in the Living Bible in Zachariah “He that touches Israel is the same as someone that pokes their finger in God’s eye.” So Zeresh understood this but it was a little too late; good advice, bad timing; she should have reversed the advice. She should have said “Haman you stay away from Mordechai because if you touch Mordechai God’s going to get you.” That’s what you should have said first; instead she said “Build the gallows” and she walked right into the law of sowing and reaping. In other words she wanted Mordechai to swing from the gallows instead her own husband Haman died on those gallows. Not only that her 10 sons were destroyed.

When you go against the Jew in Israel and God’s destiny and God’s plan you’re going against God. And as Zechariah says “He that touches Israel is the same as someone,” and this in the Living Bible translation “Pokes their finger in God’s eye.” Ten thousand talents of silver that’s what Haman offered the King to destroy all of the Jewish people. What price will the United States pay, will oil cause the United States to turn anti-Israel? I believe that God has the greatest future for the United States of America, but if you want a preview of the United States future watch the way President Bush handles the Jew in Israel. Pray for President Bush he is a man, I believe, that loves God. Pray that he be a man that has a heart like David a heart after God. Pray that he’d be tender to God’s Spirit.

I believe that our greatest years are ahead of us or a disaster for this country. The United States of America is in the balance of one point and one point only found in Matthew 25 verse 40. Jesus said “As you’ve done unto the least of these my brethren from the womb (the Jewish people) you’ve done unto me and the fate of nations contingent on it. It’s all summarized in the book of Esther in the last chapter the 10^th chapter, the third verse the last verse. “For Mordechai the Jew was second to the king and was great among the Jews and well received by the multitude of his brethren.” Why was he so great why did he have all of this honor from God? For 2 things, 2 things that you can do, 2 things that you must do, 2 things that I can do, 2 things that I must do. Number 1 because he was seeking the good of his people (That’s the Jewish people.) So Number 1: He was pro-Jewish people in Israel. Number 2: He was speaking peace to all of his countrymen. When you speak peace you speak the Sar-Shalom the Prince of Peace Jesus. So what are the 2 things that we must do? Number 1: Be a blessing to Israel. And Number 2: Speak about Jesus wherever you go. I mean I am so madly in love with my Messiah He’s so good to me. You know what He loves you as much as He loves me. But this is our Purim week and as a result I got to do what the scripture say. Now the scripture say that you are supposed to send presents to one another and give gifts to people that need things.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome, welcome to my world, where it’s naturally supernatural. I love it! I wouldn’t want to change one iota of living in the supernatural. My guest went to a spirit-filled church, a young man, and he saw such excess, so he left and he said, “I’m going to an evangelical church where everything is biblical.” And he went to it and he saw such dryness. He saw no miracles, but even in the spirit-filled church he only saw a few miracles. So he got…have you ever heard of someone getting burned out? He got burned out. But then he prayed to God and he said, “God, there’s gotta be an answer! I need a breakthrough in my life!” And God spoke to him and he had a breakthrough. How many of you want to find the revelation for breakthrough? Someone was just healed of a neck problem. Test it; you’ll see. Larry Sparks, at age 16, became a believer in the Messiah, but something transformed his life. He went to a dynamic congregation that worshiped God, but he got something he really didn’t expect. What happened?

LARRY: I was 16 and I drove to this church, and I remember at the time, God was really inciting a hunger inside of me for Him, and I went, and at the time, you know, they were doing praise and worship music. They had drums and guitars, all this stuff going, and the music was a little bizarre. People were clapping their hands and raising their hands, and for me it was so strange, but the teaching so resonated with me. I wanted to know about God, who God was, and I would actually skip the music sometimes. I just didn’t want to have anything to do with it. And then one Saturday night, July of 1999, I went to the church. The music was going on, and I was standing there and just without any warning God showed up. He touched me. I literally felt in my chest, like, a heat, like a burning, and then in my hands an electricity, like, a sud[den]…I didn’t need faith to feel it. It was real; it was a real experience, and I thought to myself, this God who I learned about going to school…I went to a Christian school, I had a Christian upbringing, and I learned information about God, but that day God made Himself real to me, and it was a subtle encounter but it was so supernatural and I’ve actually been living out of that encounter ever since then. He showed He was real.

SID: Okay, Larry, so, you go to a nice…now, you get kind of used to the raising of the hands…

LARRY: Yeah.

SID: …and the worship, and you go to this nice spirit-filled church and you loved it, but after a while there were things that began to bother you, because you’re kind of a theologian-type and things have to be in the Word. What was bothering you?

LARRY: Well, God was turned into a formula. God, the God who I experienced as a person, the God who touched me and I felt the heat, felt the electricity, this church culture kind of turned Him into a formula where they went to the Bible and it was all about finding things in the Bible, where you could pray something and pray a promise just to get whatever you want, need or desire from God. It was amazing how much emphasis was placed, not just on getting money, but how God almost became like a vending machine, like Santa Claus, like, you gave him your list in prayer and you basically said, ‘God, give me this stuff.’

SID: I heard one person say, “Well, God is like Aladdin’s Lamp. You just rub it and you get anything you want.” I mean, what is this?

LARRY: Yeah. Well, what happened is, I left, kind of, this hyper-faith type of church and I ran in the opposite direction. I said to my…I remember me and my wife saying we don’t want to have anything to do with that kind of stuff. In fact, when we’d go to other kind of charismatic, spirit-filled churches and hear that same language, we’d run away screaming just because, it’s like, we don’t want that. So we went to other churches where there was a strong theology of the cross, of forgiveness of sin, of knowing that we’re right with God, of righteousness, and those things are necessary and I celebrate them, but what was not there was faith to see God do anything for us today. So they believed that you’d get healed, maybe. They believed you’d get a breakthrough, maybe, but ultimately if you don’t get it now it’s okay because you’ll get it when you get to heaven. So they prayed prayers like, ‘If it be Thy will. God’s will is mysterious. You never know what God’s gonna do. All you need to do is just trust Him and whatever happens will happen.’ And I just knew in my heart that just didn’t settle it for me. I knew there were certain things that the Bible said God will do, and if we stand on what He said, if we believe what He says, we can actually see those things happen, with confidence!

SID: So, he sees this one extreme; no intimacy with God, just [formulas]. He goes to the other extreme; just the rules, and he doesn’t know what to do. So what do you do when you don’t know what to do? You pray to God. That’s what you did! What happened?

LARRY: Yes. I said, “God, what does faith look like?” And the Lord had me on a journey of actually going through the Bible, going through the Gospels and looking at healing. I think the Lord really wanted to reignite a fire in my heart that I encountered when I was 16; know that He is real, and that what He said, He will do. So I went to the Bible. That’s what I did. I said, “God, what do You define faith as?” And then He took me to a story in the Gospels that changed everything for me. There was supernatural revelation and He gave me actually a definition, a picture, an actual picture of what true Bible faith looked like.

SID: When we come back, we are going to explain what God showed him about true Bible faith that will cause you to have a breakthrough of epic proportions.

Sid: Now I have in the studio Pat Holliday from Jacksonville, Florida. I tell you this is way I like to see evangelism it’s supernatural evangelism. Pat found herself in Jerusalem, Israel and this is back in 1975 at a Katherine Kuhlman service and she started talking in unknown tongues to Jewish people. She speaks no words of Hebrew, but she spoke to them and they understood exactly what she said. They responded to her, she didn’t know what they were saying, and then she felt that she was supposed to lay hands on them and they all experienced encounters with the Spirit of Living God. She found out later that she actually told them to come to the Lord in tongues and if they wanted to let her lay hands on them. She laid hands on them and there was some 25 people, is that right Pat?

Pat: Yes, all men.

Sid: Twenty-five Jewish people. That’s the way that’s my kind of evangelism. But something else happened that was very interesting. You had been a very sickly person.

Pat: Yes.

Sid: I guess being involved in the New Age that drains you really bad.

Pat: Oh it makes you really sick.

Sid: Before you had your deliverance and you became a child of God but still your body had a toll it paid a price. But you were at a Katherine Kuhlman service in Jerusalem and what happened to you?

Pat: Well I was standing out in the lobby I had given my seat up for the Jews because they require a sign. And I had seen her before.

Sid: Oh, there are a lot of Christians say “Oh God I want to miracle ministry,” they don’t know the reason. The reason they want a miracle ministry is to reach the Jew. The reason they want to reach the Jew is so the middle wall of separation comes down. There’s a dynamic Pat when a Christian, a gentile Christian and a Jew become one a body of Messiah it’s a chemistry, it’s a chemical equation. As the Book of Amos says “Then the rest of the Gentiles come in.” The devil trembles when Christian’s understand this fact. So you had given up your seat.

Pat: Yes, and 2 men came up to me and they said “We have a seat down front for you.”   So they took me by the hand and led me there. I sat and the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and He took His two fingers put them on my eyes and it put me in a real light trance. I could still hear things around me but I was like totally submitted to the Lord. So the Lord told me He said “Pat, I’m going to heal your body today and I’m going to heal your husband when you go home and I’m going to save him.” He told me… when He said that it was like a bucket of oil was poured over me. And I just moved my neck all around and I felt like that tin man in the wizard of Oz when they oiled him up. And he said “Oh I can move” and he was dancing, and that’s the way I felt. And so of course when I got back home my husband was healed. And…

Sid: And what about you?

Pat:   I was totally healed I’ve never been sick.

Sid: Instantly?

Pat:   Yeah. I haven’t been to the doctor in 27 years Sid the Lord does it for me all the time. How can I come and tell you that Jesus can heal you if I can’t believe that for me you see? Doesn’t mean I don’t get under attack because sometimes I do you know but from that moment is when the Lord started bringing the Jews to me and they would receive the baptism. But when I got back home Sid my family thought I’d had a face lift because when the Lord wiped His hands across my eyes it took every wrinkle out, every wrinkle. And then Parson Carson even thought I’d had a face lift.

Sid: It sounds a lot better than a face lift to me.

Pat: Yeah, oh yeah and I said “It’s time Lord for you to do it again.”

Sid: (Laughing)

Pat:   And I don’t think I don’t I don’t think I have a lot of wrinkles on my face anyway, but hello, hello. (Laughing)

Sid: No, no actually I’m not going to give away your age but how many years ago was that?

Pat: Thirty years ago.  

Sid: But I’ll tell you what we’ve got several females in the engineering room right now and I can tell both of them are saying “I want a Holy Ghost face lift.” (Laughing)

Pat: (Laughing) a huh.

Sid: (Laughing) Oh, now they’re getting mad at me. I’m going to get into big trouble.

Pat: Your getting worldly, but anyway when I came back home I was attending this little prayer meeting and people just started coming in and getting healed. And I’ve seen the Lord do so many miracles. Miracles to me is normal, that’s normal Christianity.

Sid: Okay, I’ve got in my notes the most wonderful story. His name if I can say it his first name is Kevin.

Pat: Right.

Sid: And he had AIDS. Now that’s a death sentence when you have AIDS. If you have HIV it may or may not develop but if you have full blown AIDS that’s a death sentence. What happened to Kevin?

Pat: Kevin was in the Intensive Care Room and Marilyn his mother the doctor told her said “Let’s just turn the machines off he’s going to die. She said “Let me pray,” she prayed. And then she called the lady over in Orange Park Ronnie Bowater. And she said “Get to Pat Holliday the Lord will heal him.” She brought him over to the church and he could hardly breathe he was right off of the intensive care. And so when I laid hands on him first Sid I cast the devil of AIDS out. And I know that a lot of people are not going to believe that but it is a spirit. Then I laid my hands on his lungs and prayed for healing. Well he went to the doctor and got clean paper, you know got healing paper. Then he went back out on the 18 wheeler truck that he’d been driving before within 6 months. Well he found a wife out on the road and married her and they produced a child called Clarissa. And Clarissa is 4 years so Kevin’s still alive so he’s…that was four years ago. And Clarissa, they brought her to the church and you know generational curses the sins of the father comes down on the children.

Sid: Oh, a lot of people are fighting what are known as familiar spirits that have been in generation after… have you noticed that if someone’s an alcoholic they have a father or a mother that was alcoholic and keep going back.

Pat: Hmm hm.

Sid: Those are those familiar spirits that passed on from generation to generation.

Pat: Well they brought Clarissa to me when she was maybe 6 weeks old and I just laid my hand on her and I commanded the spirit of AIDS to leave that child. And you know Sid that girl had manifestations just like an adult person getting deliverance. Her face twisted, her little arms stretched out, her little body was moving all around thrashing. That child coughed a few times and she’s been healed ever since. That little child is a joy to her grandmother I can tell you that.

Sid: Pat you told me about this fellow who was alcoholic he had this gigantic beer belly, he fell down and he had to be hospitalized. What happened to him?

Pat: Well I went over the intensive care, well the operation. The doctor came out and said he had burst his bladder. He said he had never seen anybody live from that. And he said “We tried to sew it up and we glued it.” So I went over every day for about a week praying for him.

Sid: Well that doesn’t sound too permanent gluing a bladder.

Pat:   Well Jesus has got a glue too. (Laughing) because he’s still alive that’s been 4 years ago or longer. And he’s still alive.

Sid: Pat when you pray for someone that needs a physical healing do you pray by faith primarily, or do you pray just for people that God tells you to pray for?

Pat: Well miracles to me is normal, healing is normal to me I just believe God can do it. Then too Sid there’s something called a gift of faith. All of us have faith to heal the sick but there is a gift of faith. That gift is God faith and I’ve prayed for people actually that I didn’t believe could be healed.

Sid: You know Pat in Mark 11:22 in most Bibles it says “Have faith in God.” But in the Greek it says “Have the faith of God.” And that’s what you’re talking about.

Pat: But you know Sid in prayer lines throughout the years people have come up to be healed and I would look at them and my mind would say “Everybody’s going to get healed but you.” I remember down in St. Augustine a man came through the prayer line and he had rheumatoid arthritis and his knees had drooped over until they were about touching the floor. And he drug himself up to me and I looked at him and that’s the thought “This is too much for God.” Well you know what happened.

Sid: What’s that?

Pat:   He got healed, his bones straightened out.

Sid: So your telling me it wasn’t your faith at all it had to be God’s faith. That’s my kind of faith, I don’t want faith in God I got that. Lots of people have faith in God, I want the faith of God.

SID: Hello. Welcome. Welcome to my world where it’s naturally supernatural. You know, many people have given up on understanding the Book of Revelation. Other people are just flat so fearful they don’t want to read the Book of Revelation. And then others, believe it or not, they think the Book of Revelation was finished in 70 A.D. when the temple was destroyed. Well none of those three are acceptable. I always wondered about a scripture that I read in the New Testament: “The love of most will grow cold in the last days.” The love of most will grow cold. Why? They won’t understand the season and the times that they’re in. The Book of Revelation is the key to the last days. You must understand it. My guest has invested 80,000 hours researching the scriptures and is considered a pioneer in understanding the Hebraic roots of the faith and putting the two together. You will understand the End Time book for the Bible, the Book of Revelation. Well the studio audience is so excited because we have Perry Stone here. I feel like I know Perry because I’ve watched him on television so much and I’ve bumped into him when we both had tours to Israel. But Perry, 80,000 hours studying the Bible?

PERRY: Eight to 14 hours a day and my staff is here. They’ll verify that. It’s just been my life to understand the Word. You know, especially prophetic events and the Book of Revelation is one of those books.

SID: But why is it that many churches today are not interested in hearing prophecy? Look, when I became a believer in the Messiah I couldn’t get enough prophecy, prophecy about why Jesus was the Messiah, prophecy about End Times. But it seems as though the pendulum is swinging.

PERRY: I think there’s a couple of reasons. Reason number one is people think it’s too difficult to understand. Number two, it does contain symbolism, which has to be interpreted from the scripture itself. And if you don’t know the Old Testament, some of that symbolism isn’t going to make sense in the Book of Revelation. You have to, have to—

SID: Could that be the reason that many Christians are saying, well we’re no longer under the Law, so we won’t even look at the Old Testament.

PERRY: Let me give you an example. In the Book of Genesis, Joseph has this dream of sun and stars bowing before him. In Revelation Chapter 12, there’s a woman in travail and it talks about the sun and the stars, and the moon, and it all refers back to Joseph’s dream. Joseph’s dream was about Israel and that is a picture of the Nation of Israel. So if you don’t understand Joseph’s dream, which is in the Torah, how are you going to understand what’s written in the Book of Revelation? So what the book does, I think, we’re talking about why people don’t study. And the third reason is people see it as a negative book when it’s not. Here’s what the Book of Revelation actually is. It is Jesus as our high priest in Chapter 1. But we then see him in Chapter 19 coming back to rule on Earth in a thousand years as king of kings. The Book of Revelation is called the Revelation of Jesus Christ. But yet throughout the book you see plagues and judgment. So people don’t understand what’s taking place many times. Here’s the bottom line. It is Jesus transferring from the priestly position to the kingly position. He is transferring as the high priest to the king, because he is a priest after the Order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek was a priest and a king, priest of the most high God, king of Jerusalem. So in this role of priesthood that the Messiah, Yeshua is in. He is now high priest of the profession of our faith, but he has to transfer to take the world over as king. The Book of Revelation explains to you the process of how he judges the world in order to legally take it back from the God of this world who is Satan, who has taken over the kingdoms and the governments of this world. And so that’s what the whole theme of the book is, the transference of Yeshua the Messiah from high priest to king. And in the process of doing that what is interesting is in the book there’s a seven-seal book. In the Roman time, Cesar Augustus’ will was sealed with seven seals. In the Roman time, a wealthy person’s will was sealed with seven seals. But what those seals were —

SID: You know what? You would never understand any of this symbolism unless you knew the Old Covenant.

PERRY: That’s right.

SID: When it says, “No longer under the law” and it states that in the New Testament, Paul says it. What does he really mean?

PERRY: Let me just say this real quick, and those in — again understanding the Book of Revelation, understanding where we’re living. The Five Books of Moses, part of that contains is what is called The Law of God. It’s not the Law of Moses, the Law of God. But there was ceremonial, sacrificial and moral law. Sacrificial law was fulfilled through Christ. That’s what the Apostle Paul is talking about. You don’t go back to the temple to offer blood offering when the final lamb was offered. There is no more sacrifice of sin. However, the ceremonial law includes the Sabbath, the new moons and the Feast. Part of those were fulfilled through Christ. Part of those are going to be fulfilled with the future during the tribulation, the coming of Christ. We call it the rapture and also the kingdom, which is the rule and the reign. That happens in the future. That’s your three qualities. The moral law of God has never changed because the moral law of God is the character of God. So in other words, when you see God says, don’t like, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery, that’s all found in what we call the New Covenant teaching. And so in other words, people have, I grew up in a full gospel church and everybody kind of dubbed it altogether and said, Christ has done away the law. The problem you have with even implying it the way it’s understood in the West or interpreted in the West, is then you have to do away with those prophecies that are there that haven’t even come to pass yet. How could it be done away with when certain things have not yet happened?

SID: Well when he says, “no longer under the law,” we’re no longer under the law of temple animal sacrifices.

PERRY: Right.

SID: That’s what he’s talking about. But actually, Jesus makes it a little more difficult than we have in the Old Covenant. But you’ll never understand it unless you, Book of Revelation will remain a mystery unless you have the key, which is in the Old Covenant.

PERRY: Right.

SID: The Old Covenant will remain a mystery unless you have the key, which is the New Covenant. And the two together are the Word of God. But there’s only one book in the entire Bible that says, “I God will bless those that hear this book.” There’s only one book in the entire Bible in which God says, “I God will curse anyone that tampers with one word of this book.” It’s the Book of Revelation. And I don’t want it to be a mystery for you any more or you may miss what’s going on in the last days. Be right back.

David, let’s start there today; why is it… I mean you see how long these these people lived in the Bible. And although the life spans increasing now because of modern medicine excreta, quality life isn’t increasing, but the length of life is increasing. It’s still nowhere close to what the ancients lived.

David: Oh yeah it’s exactly true. The ancients lived I mean you look in the Bible 800 years old, a 1000 years old. Even today like even 100 years ago researchers went to different parts of the world indigenous people groups and some of them were living way longer than the western world and a lot of it was connected to their diet their lifestyle everything. It’s just like Okinawa, Japan even to this day people live longer there than other places and their lifestyle their diet stress free living has a lot to do with it.

Sid: I know you just hit a very important word stress free living. Most people they’re operating in stress and they don’t even know it. They say “I’m not stressed out.” But they are because the body doesn’t know the difference between good stress and bad stress. Stress is stress to the body. You have some suggestions to live a stress-free life in your book; tell me a few.

David: Yeah it’s multiple things; first of all of course spiritually you want to be strong with God. Spend the first part of the day with God and the word, that reduces stress big time.   Your burdens, emotional things; the Bible says “Give your burdens to the Lord,” you know not to hold them. Oh there’s exercise as well; when you go for a brisk walk or do something I notice outdoors with exercise it reduces a huge amount of stress. And also just mental like people think the worse; they have fear, they have worry. So all those put together. And then you have the electromagnetic stress you got the cell phones all those sleep right next to their bed and they have cell phones, computers, all that is emanating so much stuff. People can’t sleep at night they have insomnia which increases the stress. Our grandparents they went to bed as soon as the sun went down because they didn’t have a lot of TV, or cell phones, or electromagnetics. So actually they were more peaceful in one sense they weren’t over burdened with all the stress we have today. So I talk about ways in the book how to reduce the stress the stress mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and when you do those it way reduces your stress and you can actually live longer.

Sid: Now why did people live so long in the Bible days? I mean 500 years, 800 years I mean this is ridiculous I mean what was different back then that we don’t have today?

David: Well Adam and Eve we know they weren’t suppose to die until they sinned. So sin leads to death and so even after they sinned they didn’t live forever. But they were living a 1000, 800 and seemed like as life increased on the earth life spans went down, down, down. So it’s connected to the blood; the blood of Jesus puts you back into communion with God and I believe can actually help you to live longer. So like your DNA when you say “Lord this is Your blood, this is your (when you take communion) this is Your body” something can happen by faith even in your DNA God can reset your DNA, your spirit man and you can live longer. So I think sin is one of them but I think also in those days they still had healthier lifestyles; they didn’t have to find a health food store everything was raw and organic to begin with. And as we get more in the modern age we live less and less healthy natural lives the way God intended so the consequences are sickness, death, and sin also has a lot to do with the human condition.

Sid: Now everyone has heard about organic food why is that important? I know it’s more expensive but why is it so important.

David: You get like way more nutrition like organic fruit or vegetable so you actually get more for your money. You get like 10 times more; I have statistics on different foods when it’s organic and not. You don’t actually get the full amount of nutrition you’re supposed to get when you buy non-organic because it has pesticide, it has sprayed, it has all kinds of toxins. And you don’t get the full amount of nutrition. So you actually get more for your money with organic because you get the full amount of nutrients you’re supposed to get in a fruit or an apple or a vegetable.

Sid: Now I know you; I know your family. You and your family are all the picture of health and so your whole family’s on this program. But tell me about one of your employees by the name of Dana.

David: Yeah she started reading my book; started putting those principals together and she first of all she lost about let’s see what was it 30 pounds in just a very short amount of time. Mentally her stress levels went down; it affected in a good way her family, her marriage, like everything began to change in her life just from that.

Sid: And you talk… and I have to tell you when someone reads your book they might say “Oh, not a lot of meat, raw foods, come on now give me a break,” but you have some compelling reasons. Why should someone want raw foods rather than cooked foods with lots of salt in it and you know. But what’s the difference really and truly between the raw and the cooked?

David: Well when it comes to vegetables most; there’s a couple of vegetables that you need to steam like broccoli or whatever. But in general the enzymes after you’re like 30 and up you don’t produce enzymes and so when you’re young you can go to Pizza Hut; eat all you want you look great. After a certain age you can’t get away with that because your body’s not producing enzymes. So the only way to get the enzymes is from the food; when you cook the vegetables it kills all the enzymes. And so it doesn’t help you eliminate the foods that you’re eating. Raw foods you eliminate immediately it goes right through you. So even if you were to east say a piece of meat and that meat takes hours and hours to digest. If you have raw food the enzymes in that raw food will help the whole thing digest a lot faster. Whatever you eat it’s got to come out if it doesn’t come out it’s still in you and it’s creating toxins and it’s creating gases and it’s creating a lot of problems. And so the bottom line is raw food that you eat get out fast enough, really fast because with the cooked food you really lose a lot of nutrients, the vitamins, all the good stuff you lose most of it when you cook it.

Sid: Now you also talk a lot about juicing. Why not just eat a bunch of apples and pears during the day why juice, that’s a lot of trouble? (Laughing)

David: Well you know if you wanted to have the maximum, maximum health, you couldn’t eat all the foods in the short time that you could in juicing. Like you know kale and cucumbers and carrots in there and you can stick apples and corellas. And to do all that and make a salad might take you a long time; you stick it in a blender and it breaks it down for you and it’s like liquid energy, liquid health. You could eat a big raw salad and fruit but takes even longer for it to digest. So I recommend a combination of both. When you first wake up in the morning; if you do raw juicing, or blender, and all of the nutrients go immediately to your cells or to your blood stream and it’s like you get this natural high first thing in the morning. So it breaks it down much faster than in your own body and stomach could do it. Again because the enzymes; it’s amazing, people that try it they get hocked on it because it’s almost like they get addicted to the feeling of the raw juicing and then the rest of the day they’re so full of energy. Even it feels you up; like sticking an avocado in there; you stick some fruits and veggies and some… a bunch of different things you couldn’t even eat all of that a lot of times in a salad but you stick it in the juice you get it all in there. And a lot of times you’re not even hungry until dinnertime. Many, many times it’s so good for you.

Sid: Now do you mix vegetable juice, or do you have a vegetable juice in the morning and a fruit juice in the afternoon?

David: What I do is in the morning when I get up I try to do it the first thing. The first part of the day I put them together. Because if you just do the veggies sometimes they don’t taste that great you know. If you just put a bunch of kale in there; so I put like kale from my garden, I have a garden with some food growing there. I put some kale, I’ll put some berries, sometimes I’ll actually put some coconut water in there instead of water. And I mix different things in there and you know cucumbers, goji berries; all these super-foods put a little spirulina, chlorella, and then it tastes wonderful too. The taste is great, you got the combination of both. It’s wonderful.

Sid: Do you ever put protein powder in?

David: I used to it a long time now I do it I use healthier versions of protein like hemp protein. Chlorella and spirulina actually are one of the highest proteins that you can get. But their plant based protein and they have actually as much protein than the other stuff that you can buy and it’s healthier.

Sid: Now when people follow your 21 day program what feedback do you get?

David: People like I told you like Dana and others like her say they lost 20, 30 pounds. She lost 30 pounds; people look like 10 years younger many times just after they do the 3 weeks because they combine the health with fasting. I’m sorry not fasting, with prayer with mental changes; with breaking off old patterns in their life emotionally, physically, and spiritually. And so basically the whole man gets changed. Most diets they just do just a physical diet but let’s say they still have bitterness in their heart or rejection from their father or whatever. And this 21 day you kind of hit everything at one time and you get full breakthrough.

Sid: Now our time has slipped away but I’ll tell you something; we call this “The Power and Glory Package.” Why, because the power is released in the foods the way God intended and your body. I mean “David, can you imagine the average person, their bodies all clogged up, they love God with all of their heart but come about 5:00PM they just go home and collapse.   There’s got to be a better life than that.

David: There has to be because we’re in the end times and God’s raising up an end time army but the end time army is sick physically the enemy doesn’t even have to stop them they’re already self defeating themselves and can’t answer God’s harvest. So He’s wanting people to be healthy, strong in every way so they can actually fulfill their destiny and their call.
