AUDIENCE: Yes.

JAMIE: And it’s not just a document but it’s a menu and that you can order from this menu. You can say I want that! A visitation. Oh, who had that? I want that!

AUDIENCE: Yes!

JAMIE: That’s what I’m ordering today! That’s what I’m asking You, Father, for! Oh, that one, the transportation miracle? I want that one! I’m asking You for that one! The menu, there’s a lot on here. Unfortunately, many of us just look at the pictures and we don’t get into the nitty-gritty. You ever been to a restaurant where there’s tons of stuff on the menu but me I just go in I go whatever that is in the middle. The one with the picture that’s what I want. But my wife you know what she’ll do? She’ll look like she’s about to take an exam!

AUDIENCE: [LAUGHTER]

JAMIE: She’s going over it like there’s a test at the end of this meal!

AUDIENCE: [MORE LAUGHTER]

JAMIE: Oh my goodness! Whoa! And you know what she does? She begins to make her own meal! She says I don’t want snow peas with this. I would like you to substitute it with something else. What are my options? And she’ll go well I see somewhere else in another dish that you have this. And by the end of that meal, she’s got something served up that she ordered specifically for herself that the chef has never made for anyone else! What if God wants to tailor-make for you a supernatural encounter?

AUDIENCE: Yes! [CLAPPING]

JAMIE: All you do is have to know how to order off the menu!

AUDIENCE: Yes! [MORE CLAPPING]

JAMIE: Listen! This thing is alive and there’s an invitation for visitation right now. He wants to take you to a place, take you out of your comfort zones, your familiar zones and into a place where your blindness can no longer exist!

AUDIENCE: YES!

JAMIE: Then He says this. Don’t go back into that city! Don’t go back there! Don’t go back there! What’s He saying? Are those people unredeemable? No. He’s saying I don’t want their spiritual blindness to steal from you, your physical healing!

AUDIENCE: Yes!

JAMIE: That city is a city of blindness! Don’t go back there! Listen! There are some that will say the supernatural is not real.

AUDIENCE: Yes!

JAMIE: Don’t go back there! Instead, invade that place with the supernatural! God will invade! He’ll do more exceedingly abundantly! Here’s what I want to prophesy to you. You’re watching this. I believe there’s people watching this right now. You’re in Russia. You’re in China. You’re all over the nations right now watching this and you’re going can God touch, down here? Yes! He wants to touch down in your city. He wants to touch down in your nation. He wants to awaken the supernatural realities of God and that many of you are going to begin to taste and see that the Lord is good! In fact, I see right now that in this room as well as those watching you’re going to get not just your natural eyesight but your spiritual eyesight!

AUDIENCE: Yes!

JAMIE: There’s a moment right now that you’re feeling and some of you may be feeling an oil on your eyes. It feels almost like something is happening. God’s anointing your eyes with eyesight right now that you could see in the spirit. Some of you are actually not only going to see in the spirit but you’re going to have 20/20 vision to see in the supernatural! You’re going to have vision! I see Thailand right now. I see Taiwan. I see God is reaching out to these different places right now around the globe! Even Brazil, you’re watching and you’re going to experience God! South America. Australia is about to erupt in a supernatural awakening. I believe that in this house we are going to see signs and wonders from this place that are going to reach out to the nations! Sid, I believe that we’re going to see signs and wonders in this hour on this show at the 40th anniversary an outbreak of the Holy Spirit is going to happen and there’s going to be miracles, signs, and wonders. And I saw in my spirit the writing on the wall. That God was writing on the wall. Literally, we’re going to see visible signs and wonders happening in the supernatural that we’ve never ever seen before and the handwriting of God would come down! I believe it’s the signature of God! There’s a man right there in the middle, you have a blue shirt on, and I see you. Could you stand up here? Yes. I believe God is touching down on you and He wants to minister to you. He wants to awaken supernatural realities in your life. You’ve come because you’re hungry. You’ve made the journey because you’re hungry. You’ve come and you’ve even in your stomach you’re hungry. But I see the Holy Spirit touching your stomach and there’s a healing happening in your stomach right now. And I see Him about to awaken some things in your life that you could begin not just to see a revival for you, but for revival for your kids. There’s an awakening happening for your kids. And I see like a Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and they’ve been in the fire but God is about to redeem them from the fire and you’re going to begin to see those that have trusted God for an outpouring He’s going to deliver them and He’s going to bring them out! They’re going to be known as the excellent ones in whom all God’s delight belongs!

JAMIE: And you’re like what does that mean? Well the scripture tells us that He makes His angels “winds,” His ministers flames of fire! And when I read this in Hebrews, He makes His angels “winds,” Jesus relates to the wind and He says you don’t see the wind. You don’t know where it’s coming from or where it’s going. You perceive it. You perceive the wind, you don’t see the wind. So I would just propose to you and to those that are listening there are some angelic beings that are winds that we actually can’t even see with our eyes but we can sense because they’re like the wind. He makes His angels “winds.” And I would even go further to say that even in heaven my thought is that there are some angels in heaven that are invisible.

LARRY: Wow!

JAMIE: They’re sensed, you can sense because He makes His angels winds, His ministers flames of fire. So some people say well I haven’t seen an angel. I haven’t seen an angel and they’ll almost use that or the enemy likes to use that as a disqualifier keeping them from entering into their “see-er” potential!

LARRY: Yes. When in fact some may not be visible. Some even in the heavenly realm may not be visible with your eyes!

JAMIE: Yes.

LARRY: Wow. Wow!

JAMIE: So I think that if people knew this there are different ways, at least 5 identifiable ways where their physical senses that we can experience God in a “see-er” way.

LARRY: Yeah, Jamie. What I want you to do is just address those who are watching and I want you to pray for their spiritual senses to be in operation. I want people to experience God in their senses and I believe like we were talking about Gnosticism basically teaches that well we only experience God in a spirit level. Sadly the church has bought into a lot of that. But I do believe through this broadcast, I believe through what God is sharing through you God wants to open up the realm of the senses for people to experience God so would you just release that over those who are watching.

JAMIE: Absolutely! If you’re watching this and you feel this in your spirit right now I want you to reach out and grab this! I want you to not only see it but seize it! Okay? Because you can operate in a supernatural way with your physical body. Paul the Apostle in Galatians 2:20 he says “I have been crucified with Christ. it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me and the life I now live in the FLESH I live by faith in the Son of God.” So use your flesh, use your natural man to experience God. And I’m going to just speak this over you and I want to just raise your faith. Before I pray this prayer and just speak this over you I want to raise your faith. There’s a man that laid hands on me many years ago. He said I’ve been seeing in the spirit for a number of years now and I said well I want you to pray for me. He prayed for me and in that moment, that very moment, I started seeing flashes of light all over the room, things that I couldn’t understand. Silhouettes of angelic beings and things that were just so unfamiliar to me but it began. And ever since then I started seeing in the spirit. That the same prayer I going to pray over you right now! Father I declare and I ask You along with Your will right now to give us the spirit of wisdom in revelation in the knowledge of You. I ask that You would enlighten the eyes of those who are listening, the eyes of their understanding as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1. He says “enlighten the eyes of their understanding that they may know the hope of Your calling, the glory of the riches of Your inheritance in the saints and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe.” Father, I pray for this impartation that the “see-er” realm would awaken, that people would see, smell, hear, taste, touch what it is that You’re doing in their life and Father, let it be an incredible leaning journey, a learning opportunity to learn the ways of God! I ask this in Jesus’ name! 

CLEDDIE: Hungry! Hungry! Hungry! I came out of a meeting of a bunch of pastors one time with two of my friends from Great Britain. And the wife came up beside me. She said, Cleddie, said how can these men and women be content with so little of God? How can you be content with so little of God? How can you be content when you know Peters shadow healed the sick? How can you be content when it says believers shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover? Oh my God! [speaks in tongues] Mm! It’s time to seek the Lord until He comes and rains righteousness upon us. We do a lot of that but we don’t do the first part. We don’t break up our fallow ground, that hard untended ground! If you really want to see a move of God you’re going to have to start breaking up the fallow ground of your heart! Don’t follow fellas! Don’t follow men and women who have not had their heart broken up by the Lord in some time! I have to have my heart plowed every day! I want to pray like David. He said, “The Plowers have plowed up my back!” How many are going through that right now? I want to show you, there’s so much more I could do with this, but I want to show you real quick, I’m going to show you what changed my life. What changed my life was the Word of God! Changed my life! I want to see if you understand this. You may not. I hope you do. I hope all of us do. I’ve wrestled with the Bible and it left me with a limp but I’m glad! I’m glad because this limp has slowed me down a bit. It’s humbled me. It has forced me to stop running so fast and sure down the path of certainty that I forget to listen, to pay attention, to ask questions, to build altars and to wait. I’ve wrestled and I love the Bible more now than I’ve ever loved it before! I love it! I love it more than when I demand that it answers all my questions. More than when I forced it to fit my cultural categories. More than when I tried so desperately to make all resolve. More than when I pretended like it never bothered me. I’ve wrestled with the Bible. I’ve spoken my fears out loud about the genocidal conquest of Canaan. About the slaves and about the untouchables and about the seven days. About the concubines and the sister wives and about the instructions on silence and submission and head coverings. I’ve lived in tension and I live in it still. I’ve wrestled with the Bible and try as I may I cannot make it my own Image. I cannot cram it into an adjective or force it into a blueprint or fashion it into a weapon to be used against my political and theological enemies. It simply will not be tamed, but oh how I’ve tried! Oh, how I’ve tried to tame the Bible because a blueprint would be easier. Because a to-do list would be easier. Because an inspirational desk calendar would be easier. Because an affirmation of anything and everything I already believe would be easier. But the Bible is not a blueprint! It isn’t a list of bullet points to be followed or to do, a list to be obeyed. It can’t be crammed into an adjective or forced into a theology. No. The Bible is sacred. It’s a collection of letters and laws, stories and songs, prophecies and proverbs, philosophy and poems spanning thousands of years and multiple cultures. Written by dozens of authors and inspired by God. It is teeming with metaphor and Imagery and tension and contrast. It defies our every effort at systemization. It defies our every attempt at mastery. Indeed it forces us into community with God and with one another precisely because it is difficult to understand! Precisely because it was never meant to be read alone. Differences in interpretation should not lead us to question one another’s passion or commitment to scripture, but rather invite us into conversation with a shared assumption that were all struggling toward the truth, all trying to figure it out. Those of us who have already wrestled know that no one’s interpretation is inerrant. Those of us who have wrestled know that we can be wrong. I love the Bible more now than I ever loved it before because I finally surrendered to the God stories!

AUDIENCE: Mm!

CLEDDIE: Have you surrendered to the God stories? God’s long, strange beautiful stories. We ask questions. God told stories. We demanded answers. God told stories. We argued theology. God told stories. And when those stories weren’t enough, when the words themselves would not suffice and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and laughed among us and wept among us and ate among us and told us more stories among us, suffered among us, died, among us, and rose among us the Word entered our story and invited us into His. The Word became flesh and said Watch me! Follow Me! See how I do it! This is what I desire! And this is the Word loved. The Word loved. It loved the poor. It loved the rich. It loved the sick. It loved the hungry. It loved the zealots. It loved the tax-collectors. It loved the lepers. It loved the soldiers. It loved the foreigners. It loved the insiders. It loved the slaves. It loved the woman. It loved the untouchables. It loved the religious. It loved the favored. It loved the forgotten. And it loved even the enemy. And when words were not enough the Word took on flesh and became a story. I love the Bible but I love it best when I love it for what it is, not for what I want it to be. When I live in tension and walk with a limp. The limp that slows me down. The limp that delights my critics. The limp that wouldn’t – .that I wouldn’t change for the world. But I’m glad because this limp slowed me down a bit. It humbled me. It forced me to stop running so fast! Today I love the Bible! Everything I do I push the Word out in front of me and I hide behind it! I’m telling you the Spirit and the Word always agree! And He’s here because He honors the Word! [time of silence] For those that are watching wherever you are in the world the Holy Spirit has fallen on us. And He’s fallen on you right where you are. Maybe you’ve fallen spiritually. Maybe you’ve fallen into Immorality. The one thing you have that the sinner doesn’t have is you fell into grace.
