SID: You might not know this, but were they favored to win? I don’t even know!
DAVID:
No; it was [PHOTO ENDS] in fact they – no one thought they would even make it
to the finals! And the pastor told me, you know, France has this big vacation
thing where it’s almost like an idol, where the summer they have it – I mean –
SID:
[CHUCKLES]
DAVID:
they go on strike and they “earn” that, right? and so the Lord said,
“No; I don’t want this to end.” But I said, “Well how do I
convince the people we should continue, in sacrifice, this revival to keep
going?” It had only been on like a month or two. He said, “Tell them
France will win the World Cup, and that will be a sign.” So I get up the
next day and I prophesy this. No one there’s looking at me like, “Yeah,
right”. And then, France wasn’t even in the finals; and guess what? The
last night of the revival – had been like 6-weeks where were supposed to end it
– the pastor told me we were going to end it tonight. it was – and I had prophesied France would
win against Brazil, and then they really thought I was crazy because Brazil is
really good. Well guess what? It was France versus Brazil the last night;
France –
SID:
Now were you sweating it? Come on, tell me, –
DAVID:
Oh –
SID:
between you and me, 2 Jews.
DAVID:
I was so nervous.
SID:
[LAUGHS]
DAVID:
I didn’t even care about soccer; I watched every soccer game after I prophesied
that.
SID:
[LAUGHS]
DAVID:
I was praying, “GO GET ‘EM! YOU CAN DO IT PHILIPPE!” or
“PIERRE!” or whoever they were.
SID:
[LAUGHS]
DAVID: I was behind – I learned a lot; [CHUCKLES] I
was behind every game after that!
SID:
[LAUGHS]
DAVID:
And I was like, “Lord, if You – they don’t win, my whole reputation’s
destroyed in this country”. And guess what; France won [PHOTO BEGINS] 3-0.
Even the Brazilians were shocked, and they said, “Wow! We can’t believe you
beat us!” And the French were surprised that they won. [PHOTO ENDS] They
weren’t, like, that proud; usually they were like proud. They were like
surprised that they won. There was almost like a humility about it, like,
“Wow, we actually [CHUCKLES] won!” –
SID:
[CHUCKLES]
DAVID:
You know. And then the pastor said, “You know what? I think we should
continue this revival”. And I pretended like it was his idea, so I said,
“It’s going to be a sacrifice for me, but I’ll do whatever you say,
pastor. Let’s continue.” You know, it was kind of the joke; if you make
them think it was their idea, then they’ll keep going.
SID:
Um hm.
DAVID:
And we went for 6 months! So that – that was just one prophecy.
SID:
Well tell me I mean you have some amazing prophecies I have here in my notes.
You ‘re talking about something that’s going to happen in Israel. What is God
showing you ?
DAVID:
What’s going to happen in Israel? Well there’s going to be a huge revival in
Israel. When [VIDEO BEGINS] the first time I went to Jerusalem, I said,
“Lord, show me what the DESTINY is for this city”, because I keep
hearing – some are saying this is not the real Jerusalem; there’s going to be a
new one.
SID:
I-I’ve heard people say that Is a nuke is going to hit Israel, and they’re
going to be dispersed again, and then come back; and a lot of –
DAVID:
Yeah.
SID:
that’s called “meshuga”, “meshugganah”.
DAVID:
[LAUGHS]
SID:
[CHUCKLES] it – it – “craziness”. [VIDEO ENDS]
SID:
[CHUCKLES]
DAVID:
So I said, “God, what’s the p what’s your destiny over THIS city, right
here that I’m looking at in Jerusalem?” I’m feeling the presence of God;
I’m reading the Word of God. I’m reading Daniel and Jeremiah, –
SID:
Um hm.
DAVID:
and God starts to show me. He says to me, “No; I have a purpose for this
present-day Jerusalem. There will be a move of God. There will be many, many,
many saved. In fact, many will start coming from around the world; not to the
revivals in America; they’re going to come to Israel to experience the glory of
God!” And –
SID:
Well you know, God has shown me the same thing! A lot of people are talking
“gloom and doom” for Israel; I believe Israel’s finest hour is coming
up. I believe there’s going to be such a move of God’s Spirit in the land of
[CHUCKLES] Israel, and I-I didn’t think about what you just said, but that’s
right in-line with what God’s showing me.
DAVID:
Wow!
SID:
People will come; just like people used to go to – [VIDEO BEGINS]
SID:
Brownsville, –
DAVID:
Exactly.
SID:
and Pensacola, and these various revivals from other countries, people are
going to go to ISRAEL for revivals.[VIDEO ENDS] Tell me something else God’s
prophesied.
DAVID:
Yeah. One of the prophecies I’ve seen is Europe right now. Europe is about to
have a MAJOR move of God, and the center of it will be Germany. God told me
that –
SID:
Interesting!
DAVID:
that Europe will – cannot have a move of God without Germany being in the
center of it.
SID:
Well you may not know this, and I’m sure that you don’t know this, but
MANY Russian Jews, rather than going to
Israel, have been going to Germany. And so Germany has [PHOTO BEGINS] a large
Jewish population again!
