SID: Now, Hakeem, you talk about an atmosphere for healing. And then you talked about your aunt who was in a coma, and she was so bad off, they were going to pull the cord. That’s curtains. Tell me about that.
HAKEEM: Yeah. My family came to me and basically my grandmother and my mother said that our aunt basically fell into a coma and she really had a couple of days to live. The doctors just basically gave up on her. And so for me, I didn’t really feel like that was the will of God, personally, and so they basically said that they were going to pull the plug and the family was the one that’s going to have to make that decision. And I began to create an atmosphere by releasing decrees of healing and just reciting the word of God on healing.
And I said, “Father, I want you to cause in my family to be awestruck of your power, that you are a sovereign God and that you are a life giving God. And so it is not in their decision. It is in your decision. It is not in their will. It is in your will, and prove yourself to them.” And when I began to pray, to intercede, and I thought a release after I prayed, I thought the release, Sid, I was praying all night.
So the next morning, this was a Friday when I was praying, the next morning on a Saturday, my mother and my grandmother came to me and basically said they went to the hospital and when they went they saw my aunt was out of the coma eating applesauce. So what I know was, at the same time that she came out of the coma was the same time I was praying and I thought the release.
SID: Tell me what your prescription is?
HAKEEM: My prescription is the commanding and confessing. It is for 90 days, take the prescription, take the whole thing. And oftentimes, when there’s prescriptions we take one or two and we feel better the next day or three days later. And then it comes back. No, we have to take the whole prescription that is prescribed, even as a doctor gives us. And so [it’s the] same in, spiritually speaking, we have to do the same thing. So, I prescribe a 90 day outcome solution to receive your healing, as you recite, as you speak forth by faith, your healing commands and confession, I believe that you will be healed and you will be touched by the glory of God when you finish the 90 day process.
SID: Now you say it’s really not sickness or disease that destroys us. What destroys us?
HAKEEM: What destroys us is lack of knowledge. And so if we don’t know that we have authority, if we don’t know that we have power to command demons to go, spirits of affliction to go, and we don’t know the authority that Christ has given us, then we will … it’s lack of knowledge that’s caused us to perish. So God wants us to know the word of God. He wants us to know the truth. And so that is my assignment is allowing people to understand the truth of God’s word concerning healing.
SID: Now, you teach a lot, you like to, about the Roman centurion.
HAKEEM: I like that story because this centurion had authority, understood authority, and went to authority. That might sound like a little rhetoric over there, but he went to Jesus who was in authority. And all he said was, “Listen, I don’t need you to come under my roof. All I need you to do is speak the word of God. If you just speak the word of God by faith, he knew that his servant will be healed.” And so oftentimes we have to make sure that our words in faith line up to what we speak.
We have to believe it before we see it. We have the see—usually we think it’s the other way around. We have the “see it to believe it,” but I believe when it comes to miracles and healing, we have the “believe it first and see it.” And so the centurion basically said, “Jesus, just speak the word.” And when he spoke the word, the person was healed instantly. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead resides on the inside of every believer. So if that same power, that same anointing rests on me and it rests on Jesus, then why can I not command? Why not let me operate in the delegated authority Jesus has given us. So right now, every believer, even those who are watching right now, I just even speak right now that this is a season that you arise in authority, and that you arise in power, and you arise in grace.
This is a season that you will not fear, but you will operate in faith. You will begin to be that commander that the Holy Spirit has made you to become in this season. No sickness, no death, no disease, no oppression. We’re no longer bound. You, no more. I say today in Jesus name that you will activate your faith and move in a realm of glory, and you will see people healed. You will see people delivered, and you will see people set free. This is your season, to rise as a commander of the Holy Spirit to release and to receive the healing power that has been given to you. It is your inheritance.

HAKEEM: Yes.
SID: Specific people to be healed of specific conditions. And I want you to start with a few that you already testified of, that you’ve had or you’ve prayed for others, but then move into words of knowledge. And I want you to command the people at home, in the studio audience, command of spirit of affliction to leave. Command the pain to leave.
