SID: Venner, you also talk about distraction. Tell me about that.

VENNER: This is what happens when you’re distracted. When you’re distracted, he fills our mind sometimes with good things. It’s what I call busy-ness. And in that place of busy-ness we get pulled away from what is really important. And so we lose focus on our warfare because of something else that came in, something in life. Life happens, doesn’t it? On the earth. And so we have to pay attention to what we are paying attention to and we must keep first things first. So when I’m distracted, I lose focus. When I lose focus, I lose energy, I lose strength, I lose momentum. And when those things happen, I lose.

SID: What if you’re in a really big challenge and nothing’s happening? What is your advice?

VENNER: If you’re in a big challenge and nothing is happening, and I know this by the spirit of God. I began to hear this word for families that you have children that got up and walked away from home and the anguish of your heart as a parent. I see parents, you’ve been up for several nights, you’ve been praying and you’ve just been saying to the Lord, “Even if they don’t come home, I want to hear from my child.” I decree right now and I send a word to your child wherever they are, and I decree that in the next seven days you will hear from your child. I decree that they’re going to pick up the phone and they’re going to call you. And I even speak now and I activate a cycle of reconciliation between you and your children.

And I decree that even that place of bitterness that has come in and it has divided the family in certain ways, I decree now that there is a healing coming into your family for there’s been a longing in your heart to be reunited with your child. And I decree by the spirit of God, I activate this now and I send a word to your child, it feels like a son. I send a word to your son and I say, right now, tonight you’re going to begin to dream about your mother and your father and there’s an awakening happening in your life, and you’re going to get up and you’re going to make your way, because you’re in another city, you’re going to make your way back home. There’s going to be a time of reconciliation. There’s coming, I feel, I can feel the love of God that is going to just drop when all of you meet in the same space and place.

So I just say to you now that your prayer has been heard. No matter how long you’ve been praying, no matter how long you have been waiting, I want you to always know that God is a good, good father. He said, “I watch over my word to perform it.” He said, “I am not a man that I would lie. Neither am I the son of man that I would repent. If I have said it, I will surely bring it into manifestation.” And I decree that this is your season of manifestation now.

God spoke a word to me. He said, “My church has been a place that has been in a cycle of manifestation, movement without manifestation.” And I decree that right now. That’s what I saw in the spirit was a revolving door and we had been going around the same issues over and over and over again. And God says, “That cycle of movement without manifestation is over. It is a season of manifestation.” I activate miracles in your life. I activate the supernatural in your life. And I decree that your ears are open in a greater way to hear the voice of the Lord, even those of you that have a seer’s anointed. And because you saw in the spirit when people didn’t understand what you were seeing, you retreated into the cave and you said, “I’m just not going to share my experiences with anybody else.” I call you from that place of hiddenness and I say, it’s now time. Prophets, come out of the cave. Prophets, come out of the cave. Prophets, come out of the cave now in Jesus’s name.

SID: Now, you may not get a supernatural phone call like Venner did to know the Messiah, but consider this your phone call. Do you want to know God as much as he wants to know you? Yes, he wants to know you more than you want to know him. I don’t mean religion, I mean relationship. I mean intimacy. I mean your best friend. Repeat this prayer after me and mean it to the best of your ability out loud. Dear God-

SID: … I’m a sinner.

SID: … and I’m so sorry.

SID: I believe.

SID: … the precious blood of Jesus.

SID: … washes away all of my sins.

SID: … and I’m clean.

SID: And now that I’m clean.

SID: … Jesus, come into my heart.

SID: Live inside of me.

SID: … you’re my Lord.

SID: Amen.

SID: I’m here with Tommy Combs. Tommy, you said something that is music to my ears. You said that the glory of God is here, but I didn’t realize that not just the glory of God in the studio right now but the blue mist is here. I know it. When was the–

TOMMY: The glory.

SID: … first time that you saw the glory of God?

TOMMY: At age 10, the doctors had diagnosed with a liver disease that destroyed my liver and-

SID: Was that life-threatening, terminal?

TOMMY: Life-threatening with three to five days to live.

SID: Boy, that’s life–

TOMMY: Threatening. On Sunday morning, the blue mist … my mother was praying, my grandmother’s praying for me. The blue mist rolled into my hospital room, rolled into the room. It’s so powerful, it’s so powerful, knocked my mother to the floor on one side, knocked my grandmother to the floor on the other side, out in the Holy Ghost, as I would say, out in the Holy Ghost of God. Jesus walked right up to my bed. He came out of the blue mist, walked right up in the smoke.

SID: Wait, were you afraid? I mean you’re a young kid. You’re dying.

TOMMY: I’m sitting up, a 10-year-old sitting in the bed looking up and there’s Jesus in front of me, that I’d been taught all my life about Jesus. Now, I’m looking right at him, beautiful eyes, beautiful. I received a brand new liver in one second by the power of God. Give God praise. Hallelujah.

SID: Then at 14, your entire life changed. What happened?

TOMMY: At 14, in a small church service of about 80–

TOMMY: … people in our local church, and my dad and some other men would come into the church and sit there. They were coal miners from a Walker County, Alabama, in a coal mining business. The blue mist rolled in at the end of the service, during the altar service when the man of God made to call for salvation. The blue mist came into altar.

SID: You realize, as you’re saying this, I can feel the presence–

TOMMY: He’s coming.

SID: … of God increasing as he’s talking.

TOMMY: People would come to the altar, raise their hands in the blue mist, fall into the power of the Holy Ghost. People were healed…

TOMMY: … people were delivered, people were saved. But the main thing that happened, my dad walked down at altar crying and said, “Save me, Jesus,” and gave his life to Jesus Christ when the blue mist came in. An encounter with God changes everything in your life when we get in that glory presence of God.

SID: You like to teach on what the scriptures, especially the Old Covenant, have to say about the glory. Pull out a couple, a few.

TOMMY: Let’s start with Adam. Adam. Every afternoon, Adam would get in God’s presence, the glory. The glory was there in the garden and Adam. Then, we go seven. Seven men from Adam was a man named Enoch. Enoch got so much glory of God he just walked into heaven. Just walk with God and God took him, Enoch. Moses is the man. I mean, Moses…

TOMMY: … was the man. Moses was in God’s presence. His skin was actually penetrated. They had to put the shield over his face with a cloth. The glory of God was so strong on the day that Solomon dedicated the temple that the priest could not stand, the musicians cannot stand. I’m telling you that is going to happen again. It’s going to happen again. We’re going to see it big time happening when everyone in the glory is in the presence of God. Peter in the glory of God … I want so much power on me and you and this audience and everyone watching us today that the glory of God comes so strong that we just pass by people to get healed like Peter’s shadow.

SID: You know what? I don’t see it happening now, but this is real to me as if it’s happening right now. But, tell me about that meeting you had in Bolivia.

TOMMY: We were in Bolivia and a small congregation of about 80 people. We’re just having a great worship service. Then, the blue mist came in like the smoke, the kind of glory as I call it. The smoke came into the room, and God said, “You want to see a double portion?”

I said, “Yes, sir, I’d love to see a double portion. Anything you want, God, I’m with you. Come on, show it to me.” The blue mist rolled into congregation. Everybody went out, Sid, everybody. Listen–

SID: When you say went out, people don’t understand that word.

TOMMY: Let me.

SID: Explain.

TOMMY: That’s a good term for me. Everybody fell under the power of God in the blue mist. Three-year-old children fell on the power of God, and 80-year-old women fell under the power of God. Everybody in God’s prejudice, prostrate on the floor worshiping God because the blue mist came in. That’s the most powerful scene I’ve ever seen where the whole church, and that’s going to also happen where we see whole congregations in our churches, in our synagogues, everywhere. When the blue mist comes, it’s just going to change peoples’ life by mass numbers, not three or four of us, but mass numbers are going to be changed.

SID: Oh, you know these big football stadiums, they weren’t made for football. You know what they were made for? The glory of God.

TOMMY: That’s right, the glory of God.

SID: But, Tommy, you said expectancy is very important.

TOMMY: You got to expect the glory. By faith, we are saved; by faith, we accept Jesus Christ; but we have also by faith, got to expect the glory. We’ve got to expect it. That’s number one. You’ve got to expect it.

SID: Well, I can tell you, that I’m good on. I expect every meeting I have that glory to show up.

TOMMY: When we expect the glory, we’ve got to be like Moses. Moses said, “God, show me your glory.”

“I can’t, Moses, it’ll kill you.”

Moses didn’t stop. You know what he said? “God, I want to see your glory.”

“Moses, I can’t show you my glory. It’s going to kill you.”

You know what he said? “God, show me your glory.”

He said, “I’ll tell you what I’m going to do for you, Moses, I’m going to let you put your face in a rock and I’m going to walk behind you.”

Moses, I’ll use the word peak out, okay, Moses, face in the rock, he looks like this. God walks behind him. He sees the glory of God so strong that he writes the first five books of our Bible. He saw the history of God. The Bible says, “He saw the backside of God,” he saw the hinder parts of God. No, no. He saw the history of God. God showed him the history. When Moses walked by him, he saw the history of God. Moses was a man, I’m telling you. That kind of … We have to be persistent like Moses was persistent. God, show me your glory.

SID: I’m expecting. I’ll tell you what, Tommy receives a word from God about the greater glory and the type of miracles that we’re going to see. I’m expecting them on this show. Be right back

SID: How did you find out about being born-again, if no one told you?

KEVIN: I was I was on assignment to at work, and they had a pin on; one of the guys had a pin on, and it just said, “Born-Again” on it. And he told me “Well don’t you know that everyone has to be born-again?” And I thought I because I went to church, that I was a Christian; but he said, “No; there’s an experience, where you have the Spirit of God come in you.” He said and he told me to go home and read the Book of John, so I did. And in that, I found out that you needed to be born-again; and so I knelt down, and I said, “Lord, if You will deal with me like you deal dealt with the people in the Bible, I want to give my life to You right now. And I would even give up my nomination to the Air Force Academy; I would do whatever You called me to do.” And so that’s how that happened. And then with the Holy Spirit, two months later, I was driving in my car, and it was snowing, and my car went into a spin. And I recovered from it, but the other people on the other side did not recover, and so they were coming right at me. the experience happened that I yelled out for God for help, but when I did, it was in another language, but it was fluent! And I felt the heat of God, the oil of God, and the car seemed to go right through me the other car. It did not hit my car.

SID: Did the were there anyone out was there anyone else in the car, with you?

KEVIN: No there wasn’t.

SID: Well how about how about the other person? Did they come back and say what “What is happening?” [laughs]

KEVIN: No; I never saw them again! I just kept driving. And I told the Lord, after this outpouring, I said, “Lord, I’m never going to worry; I’m never going to doubt You again,”,

SID: Hmm!

KEVIN: because that’s how strong the Presence was. And ever since that day, I have spoken in that language every single day, and it builds me up in the Spirit.

SID: Okay. 1992; fall of 1992, you’re just having a little bit of dental surgery; you’re getting rid of your wisdom teeth. And you’re unconscious,, and all of a sudden you’re out of your body. And all of a sudden, Jesus is there, and He begins to teach you. What was the first thing He said to you? Can you remember? The very first thing He said.

KEVIN: Well I was looking at my body, and trying to figure out how I could get back into it. And I couldn’t, and I so I went around the room

SID: Were you scared?

KEVIN: At first I was kind of

SID: I would have been! [laughs]

KEVIN: but I, when you’re outside your body, and you end up in the Presence of

SID: I’ve never been in that [laughing] situation, so I don’t know.

KEVIN: The Presence of the Lord is very strong; and, when you’re a Christian, you have no hindrances; you feel the Spirit of God very strongly. I was at peace; but I did want

SID: That’s got to be great, to be shed of this body this Earth suit and be pure spirit! I can’t think of anything [laughing] better!

KEVIN: It was it was beautiful, because I didn’t have any doubts, fears. I didn’t have any hurts; I couldn’t feel any of the pain that was in my body; I felt completely free. But I did feel the need to tell the surgeon, and, I poked him, I yelled; he could not hear me, even though I could feel him. And so I went around to the nurse, and I I told her to revive me, and she didn’t’ hear me. So I went to the anesthesiologist, and she couldn’t hear me either, and I realized that I’m not going to go back to my body, unless a miracle happens. And so I’m standing there watching my body, and watched them work on me, and all of a sudden

SID: That’s got to be a weird feeling!

KEVIN: Yeah.

SID: Very weird! [laughs]

KEVIN: It’s it really shows you how out of control we are. Unless God actually told me to go back to my body, I didn’t have permission to go back. And

SID: Hmm!

KEVIN: and it shows you that you don’t really have control of your life, and, it really teaches you what you don’t know. I experienced and so my body started to glow, and so I stepped back, and I thought, “Why is my body glowing?” and I

looked down, and I had a body!, so I couldn’t’ figured out why my physical body was starting to turn into this beautiful body, and I realized it was my resurrection body. And

SID: Hmm.

KEVIN: my face transformed, and I looked like myself, but I was at a perfection state; and so it took me back. And, I was glowing; and then I knew, by the Spirit of God, that that was my resurrection body; that I was going to get that back. And I saw the most beautiful details of my face; I looked like an angel; and so I just simply, without hindrance, I just said, “I look beautiful!”, because I was perfection.

SID: Mm.

KEVIN: [music] And so, when I said that, I heard a man’s voice which was another man’s voice that was not accounted for; it was behind me.

Keith Zadai: I look beautiful!”

KEVIN: And this voice said, “This is what you look like to Me all the time”; and I turned around, and it was the King of Glory; it was Jesus Christ, the Messiah. And He walked up to me, and greeted me.

SID: What was He dressed in? Was He dressed in a robe? Was He dressed like you? [chuckles]

KEVIN: It’s amazing; when you meet Him, you don’t want to look at what He’s wearing.

SID: [chuckles]

KEVIN: I didn’t even look down to see if He had sandals on. All the things you

SID: Hmm.
