KAREN: About restoring the family altar and restoring the altar in homes. Restoring the altars in churches. And so we actually travel and we do services where we actually bring an actual physical altar to churches and plant them in the church!

LAURA: Wow!

KAREN: Not because that church needs an altar but because they’re preparing them for an encounter!

LAURA: Uh-huh!

KAREN: Preparing them for a moment of transformation! Because the altar is the place where what you have been, gets interrupted by what you can become!

LAURA: Wow! That’s powerful!

KAREN: And so we’re wanting to bring that back into the homes, into families, into marriages, into churches where the altar is just used so many times as a prop in sermons.

LAURA: Yeah. The move has worn off.

KAREN: Rather than as a place of encounter!

LAURA: People don’t really – they look at it and they think “Oh, that’s where you know people go to do this or that.” They don’t get it!

KAREN: That’s right.

LAURA: That they can experience that at home.

KAREN: That’s right.

LAURA: All right. Tell me about “I am Revival” because it’s a similar concept.

KAREN: Yes.

LAURA: You are the revival!

KAREN: That’s right!

LAURA: You know you are the altar, you are the revival!

KAREN: Yes. Well, when we were writing the book together, we were traveling and there was one particular time that I couldn’t go with my husband and he was off ministering. And I remember feeling slightly jealous that I couldn’t be there.

LAURA: [laughing]

KAREN: Because he was going to be at a church that was just so powerful and my husband is just a powerhouse preacher!

LAURA: [laughing]

KAREN: And so I was sitting there and I was thinking “God, I want to be there! What if revival breaks out? I’m going to miss it!”

LAURA: [laughing]

KAREN: “I’m going to miss that moment!” And God spoke to my spirit because so many times we run here for revival, we run there for revival. We’re revival chasers! You know we run to this church or that church. And God spoke to me in that moment and He said, “Why would you miss revival? You are a revival!” 

LAURA: Oh wow!

KAREN: And I sat in that moment, and that’s where the chapter in the book came from, because God spoke to me and He said if the Word is true, and where it says “In him we live and breathe and have our being” or if it says that “He lives in us” and His presence, His Spirit, the breath of God lives inside of us then we should be fire-starters! Everywhere we go there should be sparks of revival fire! If I’m on an airplane, if I’m at the grocery store, if I’m at a restaurant everyone I come in contact with should feel the fire that is inside of me!

LAURA: That’s right!

KAREN: That wherever we go demons should be diving out windows!

LAURA: [laughing]

KAREN: Because of what we bring into the room!

LAURA: It is true. It is true!

KAREN: That we are the revival that the world is looking for! Because if it’s true and we believe what we preach, if we believe what the Bible says, that that power – He says that He gives us a spirit –  He doesn’t give us a spirit of fear but of power, of love, and a sound mind, then we should be walking in victory everywhere we go and spreading that revival! And through our life in Him, that’s how people will be changed!

LAURA: That’s exactly how people will be changed!

KAREN: That’s right.

LAURA: Because we were changed, with a personal encounter!

KAREN: That’s right.

BILL: We’re in China, we’re in Russia, we’re in Indonesia, we’re in Africa, we’re in Alaska, we’re all over the world and we have training centers where we train people because God has given that reproducing anointing to reproduce reproducers who reproduce reproducers. I’m not interested in dead seas. I’m interested in flowing rivers. Amen. I want to put it now it’s going to move. Here’s what we are going to do. In just a moment we’re going to stand and we’re going to join both hands, facing each other okay and then you’re going to pray in tongues for about a minute. When you pray in tongues you’re activating your spirit. How many know when you pray in tongues, you’re not blowing sawdust you’re praying in the spirit. So that’s the way you activate your spirit. You start praying in tongues. You know it’s the way you pour out water. You just lift it up and start pouring it out. You open it up and let it flow. As you’re praying in the spirit, ask God, Lord, give me something that you’d want to share with that fellow person. See there are 5 levels of the prophetic. Number 1 is Revelation 19:10, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Everybody can move in that level. Spirit of prophecy. How many of you – God’s always got a message; He’s got always something to say. He’s got always something to say. I think the most I’ve ever prophesied over at one time was 700 people. But God’s got a word for everybody. I said God’s got a word for everybody. And so, move in that realm, and then you’re going to pray in tongues, then you’re going to ask God, give me a thought and you’ll see something then you’re a seer, sensors, hearers, feelers. And you may just get a word. I’m a slight sensor and hearer but I just see something kind of hard to explain, but you’ll get something. You say, Lord give me something and then you share it. I’ll tell them, now don’t say thus sayeth the Lord or God showed me or start shaking and [(35:35)?] just share the word. Amen. Just share the word and then don’t try to interpret it – you rarely miss it on the word you give, but you miss if you try to give interpretation or application. No interpretation or application. If they ask what’s that mean? I don’t know. It’s your problem, I mean you’re blessing now.

BILL: And how many will give your fellow member the right to have a partner to practice with? See we’re not going to blame God for anything we’re about to do. We’re just going to believe it’s God. So we’re not going to say thus sayeth the Lord or God showed me this or the spirit revealed, we’re not going to blame God for anything we’re doing we’re just going to believe it will be God, because if it is God, it don’t need thus sayeth the Lord. If it’s not God, thus sayeth the Lord won’t help it a bit. Amen. How many, if we activate you in the prophetic, you won’t let it die. You’re going to press on in and you need to get some training. We have training every month [(36:29 – 36:30)?] Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and you can be trained and equipped and we have them all around the cities and states and around – and you got to press in. Press in. Stir it up and move in it.

BILL: Wherever I go in the world – I have traveled over 200,000 miles last year in 10 nations. I would like to give a hallelujah to let the devil know we are out to help fulfill His destiny. Hallelujah! Amen. Well we are going to share with you a little while and activate you in the prophetic, amen. You never start getting any younger, or any prettier. You have reached your peak. No, hallelujah. We have trained over 300,000 people in the last 37 years in the prophetic. I started training people in 1977, and I’ve been prophesying since I was 18 years old in 1952. And a few of you have been around awhile to see it too. I’m 5 years younger than Pat Robertson, and 6 years older than Sid Roth. So I’m right in the middle there with them, but at 82 I’m still going strong. Praise God.

BILL: And, we’ve got three children, eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. Amen. All my children work with us in the ministry. All prophesy. All my grandchildren prophesy. And now my great grandchildren. My ten year old’s coming to the platform and giving prophecies. Everybody coming under our ministry prophesies. Amen. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14, you may all prophesy, and I’m going to activate you in the prophetic today. And you’ll always be freer and more able, and I’ll show you then principles for it. I want to share with you a little bit of my testimony. I was called to be a prophet. I’ve been a prophet for 62 years. I’m a little different than what you would normally think of a prophet. Before we understood prophets, and there were prophets, people had their opinions about prophets and what prophets should be. You had to have a, like an apostle, had to have a vision of Jesus or a prophet had to have an out of body experience. Well I’ve had no out of body experiences, no angelic visitation, and I was asking God one day, I said, Lord, I’ve prayed, fasted – When I was in Bible College, I started a forty day fast every month –

Audience: [Laughter]

BILL: Because Oral Roberts just fasted 40 days and nights and T.L. Osborn had fasted and everybody had fasted 40 days and nights and at 19 years old I thought if I could fast 40 days and 40 nights the Lord would say move over Roberts and behold Hamon cometh! But I never did make that 40 days. I think 10 is the most I’ve ever made. But you know, He didn’t let me do it, and I was with my son when he was graduating from Leighton Bible College in California and Don Hagan came on and he was talking about how he sees in vision everybody he’s going to minister to, what color clothes they got on, and what they have and the whole thing. I said, God, if you can do that for Hagan, then you can do it for me. I just have to move with faith, grace, and gifting. And I said, I’m tired of having to move by faith, I’d like to see something, hear something. See, hear, feel. So I was going to drive up to about an hour north and preach that night and on the way I said, God, I’m not going to prophesy over anybody.
