DAVE: Completely gone! So I just love seeing people like when you are confronted with that kind of a situation the reality hits you like you know God is real! God cares about me! He loves me! He takes away my pain! He takes away my fear and anxiety!

PAT: Well you even wrote about this. I mean you began to write about it. Tell me why you wrote under – I’m an author. You’re an author. You wrote under a pseudonym. Why did you do that?

DAVE: Uh, a lot of people have misunderstandings about that. It’s really just because patient privacy laws. Patient confidentiality. I write about my patients. I want to protect their privacy. So rather than write under my own name so people could track me. Go to my boss and figure out who the people were that transported me.

PAT: Right. Right.

DAVE: I just decided to write anonymously so that my patients their private information would be kept secret really.

PAT: Well you know and so now you gathered this reputation as “The Praying Medic.” And you know we’re about to go to break in just a moment but if you could tell anybody that’s watching right now, you know this is your now. This is your moment! God has a plan for you! What would you say to them? Maybe they’re sitting next to somebody that is sick. As we take just a break what would you encourage anybody watching, just the common person, what would you say?

DAVE: Anyone can heal the sick! I am not a special person. I don’t have a special anointing. God will heal anybody through you! All you need to do is learn how to release His power, to exercise authority [Music] and to release His glory and His goodness upon people and it’s not that hard to learn! Anyone can do it!
