Now I am of the belief, if it were me and I had three and a half years with my team, disciples, my last message would probably be the summation, the most important thing of all the things that have been said; this, here’s the bottom line guys. And this is kind of what he does in John 14, 15, 16 and 17. And we’ll be looking at some aspects of this over the course of this study. But one of the things He says right off the bat in verse number 12, twelve verses into this message, John 14:12, what does He say? “Truly truly, I say unto you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father”. Hallelujah. Every sign, every wonder, every miracle, everything that Jesus did; Jesus said, as a believer, you’re going to do what He did and even greater. As I look at this, one of the things I like to look at is what it doesn’t say. It doesn’t say he that is ordained or he that is in the ministry or he that goes to Bible school or he that’s on the mission field or at a special meeting. No it doesn’t say that. What it does say is he that believes! Praise God! As a believer, you are qualified. Again, God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. And because you are called, because you’re a believer, filled with the Holy Ghost; every sign, every wonder, every miracle that Jesus did, He said you’re going to do it and even greater. Greater could have different possibilities. One of the possibilities that people say is that Jesus never sinned. So, could well be that the greater work, again we’re going to do what He did and even greater, the greater work could be the testimony of salvation. Jesus didn’t have that testimony. And I would agree, there is no greater testimony, there is no greater miracle than that of being born again. Hallelujah. Great miracle. Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and you are saved. Amen. Greatest of all miracles. So that is a possibility as far as greater works that you and I are going to do, but I tend to think it’s not that. But other people say, the greater works are the people that are doing the work of the ministry. When Jesus did it, He was one per se. Now He did send out seventy at one point and there were seventy people doing the works of the ministry, but today there are millions of people all over the face of the earth that are born again, baptized with the Holy Spirit and some of them are operating in the supernatural. And I’m believing through this kind of a study, we’re going to get far more people, millions and millions of peoples discipled into walking in the greater power of God, if you will. But personally, I don’t think that’s it either.
